Free country, I guess. Half of my ideas are just inspired by something else.

Since the thread's been bumped, I guess I should say something about current progress... Chapter 16 has been delayed this long through an unfortunate combination of self-sabotage in terms of planning as well as lots of outside responsibilities that have taken priority. But it's rapidly nearing completely. Like, seriously. Home stretch. Update within the next few weeks, and I'll make sure it's worth the wait, too.

Just started reading this and I have to say it's impressive, it's almost exactly what I would've wanted from GT and then some stuff I could not have thought of.

Would love to see a fan-manga version of it but at the same time I love how descriptive it all is, can't wait to carry on reading.

I would love to do it as a fan-comic in the first place instead of a fanfic, but it takes enough time to make progress as it is.

Really? I would have thought drawing a comic would be faster/easier than writing prose, as long as you can draw well like you can.

Ah, well, there goes my dream of spontaneously becoming able to draw and using that to get around my inability to write prose.

It's not really about it being easier or harder, in my experience. It's more about using time and resources in different ways, but it's just as time-consuming either way. At least when sticking to working in text format, I have more options as to when and where I can work on it.

And if you were to make it into a fan-manga, which character would you include on the spine (Tankoubon style)? I'd see Pan and Trunks but I'd like to know your opinion

Since I actually plan to do a tankobon spine-style spread of characters eventually as "official" GTR art, but the included characters would be potentially spoilerish this early on, I'll have to keep my mouth shut on this one.

a. happy that I've guessed that something like this would be made
b. happy to know that you're planning to do it

I think it's supposed to go after chapter 7, but it's really just a (damn good) side story.

For now, it'd be any time after Chapter 8, which (at this point) contains a brief summary of Cataclysm's plot, and thus spoilers for it. That's probably going to change in the near future, though.

I'm experimenting with using the obscene amounts of space I have on SkyDrive to offer up the PDFs for download, and it seems to let you read the PDF online right there, as well. Let me know what you think compared to my previously using MediaFire!
