Considering the backlash Xbox One Fail is getting and the state of the series, it would be suicide to that.
Xbox One is only getting bad backlash now because the conference was clearly for non gamers and to introduce the system. E3 will tell us all about both X1 and the PS4.

Also the new DBZ game will be for current gen. This is the time of year we get that last great DBZ game of an era. I predict this might be Spike's last game and will be a Tenkachi 3 squeal or killer.

It would be nice if Bandai made Dimps and Spike co work on the game.

Two years to come up with something similar to Tenkaichi 3 would be extremely disappointing. I hope they actually put some effort to it.

Xbox One [XO] was not intended for gamers, but for the casual market who could be potentially thinking about buying an all in one device and as an extra, it has games. Microsoft is expanding the Xbox brand, this trend started since Microsoft's Metro Dashboard was introduced to Xbox 360.

I can't say it's really all that bad, having all in one place is better than using a device for this and that. Still, I'm unsure but E3 will show what games are going to be announced for XO, PS4 and WU. Nintendo's not doing their annual E3 session but other developers will, I think.

Can't play used games and no backwards compatibility. This thing is literally the worst system I've ever seen. Seriously can't play used games was just a joke floating around the internet and they actually did it... Microsoft pretty much knocked themselves out of the console wars. Especially with the Steam Box entering the console wars.

PS4 isn't backwards compatible but it'll probably stream old PS1/PS2/PS3 via the Gaikai which will cost money, because nothing's for free.

Xbox One does allow to play used games but with a fee, apparently. Xbox One isn't really intended for the gamers but casual/families and entertainment device fanatics, as it's an all in one box. Although, Microsoft did announce that they have 15 exclusive games and 8 new IPs incoming, that'll all be revealed on E3.

Valve's Piston / Steambox will cost like $999.99, yeah good luck staying in the market with that price.

Actually I think, like the PS3, the PS4 will be able to play PS1 games. But no it won't play PS3 games(though I'm not sure about digital games) They are also going to be providing a streaming service for PS3/2/and 1. Honestly there isn't a whole lot being said about it right now but that's what's floating around. Gaikai will probably be included in Plus, which honestly is pretty fair. They might offer something for non-Plus users; like register your purchased PS3 games and stream them for free. But this subject hasn't been talked about a lot. Outside of that, basic online will still be free. That means online matches and basically the same service plans you see now for the PS3 will remain how they are. I still can't believe Live isn't going to offer a free basic service like Sony, Steam, and Nintendo. Today, that's just inexcusable.

In any case we should probably move away from new console discussion because I'm pretty sure this new game is going nowhere near the PS4 and...sigh Xbox One.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Well, Nintendo's online service is crap compared to the rest so that's not even worth mentioning.

In case PS4's Gaikai streaming service includes Dragon Ball games (Yamamoto music = removed /changed) of PS1/PS2/PS3 that would be wonderful for all Dragon Ball fans everywhere. Gaikai being included on PS Plus would make sense and I'd pay for that.

Piston is a console developed by Xi3 Corporation and other than being slightly funded by Valve, has nothing to do with the real Steambox.

I'm aware of that but that could easily change in the future. As it stands right now, Microsoft's future in the console wars is looking very bleak. The Wii U looks better than this and it has nothing going for it right now. Honestly there is no point in buying a XB1 when there's PC at this point.

Odds are this "conquer the world game" will be current gen (PS3/360/Wii-U). If its a souped-up, polished upgrade to Raging Blast 2, I think I'll take it. Raging Blast 3 doesn't have to be disaster.

I'm a bit bothered because I keep on thinking the game will be BT4, which probably means they would have spent the two years putting in a massive amount of characters. I hope I'm wrong though, and they instead go for quality over quantity. :)

I don't see why we can't have both these days. They owe us something all around awesome for the crap they have produced these past 2-3 years. Honestly, who's bright idea was it to make Dragon Ball Kinect :problem: .

I'll be pretty bummed if it took them two years and all I got was more characters. It sounds like they are taking this seriously. The two years feels like this will be a new game from the ground up; at least I hope that's the case. No more just cell saga shit, but I'm more than willing to take a minimum character count for a solid, fun game. You want to throw in a million plus characters? Fine too, just put gameplay first.

Even if they are using Treevax ideas then I'm still keeping my hopes low. Just because his ideas sound awesome that does not mean they will turn out good. Sometimes things will sound good on paper but end up awful. It seems like most fans on the web really fan wank him most of the times. It reminds me how Godzilla fans on the web are with Matt Frank's artwork.

To anyone going to Animazement: it may be possible to ask the voice-actors if they are the process of (or already completed) any video-game related projects.

I'll have a laugh if that's all they done within 2 years.

Hopefully they did more than just add a bunch of characters to a game, but that's yet to be seen.

I have no problem with this. They just need to remove/tweak some broken items, and fix online play so that I don't run into 50 Kid Buus back to back. Maybe they should bring back that PL system from BT3 so that you can put restrictions on what tier characters you want to fight. God knows if they put in GT characters the stream of SS4 Gogetas will be endless, nobody is going to pick anyone else.

I'm mixed about some of his stuff. His art direction is great and that's my favorite thing about his ideas. I also liked his giant boss battle ideas and his attention to controls. My biggest complaint is that he thinks too much inside of the box Spike gave him. I understand where he's coming from but I really think it's time to let go of the Tenkaichi/RB set up. I'd be more supportive of his ideas if he was more creative with his game design. In short art=great; gameplay direction=slightly better than norm.
