You don't have Kai Part 4 on Blu-ray? What a pity. Part 4 is the where Kai gets at its best.Shinsa wrote:Got these bad boys signed the other day by Ryo Harikawa

Signed Dragon Boxes! Nice! I also got some of mine signed at Animazement. I will probably post some pics in the Animazement thread in the next few days.

i have all 8 volumes but only 4 on dvd...i started collecting KAI randomly because i found vol. 1-3 at a used book store for $10 each so by the time i wanted to purchase Vol. 4 it was already out of print because of the music scandal. I've tried ebay and found it at a local anime store but I'm not willing to shell out $60 for it.
Yes i did go to Anime North! I'm not sure if i did see you or not but if you were cosplaying maybe i can point you out. I went to see Mr. Harikawa all 3 days so who knows. That being said when i went to see him it didn't seem like a lot of people were lining up for autographs. I couldnt go to any of his panels but i'm hoping he got more attention then what i saw because i sure was excited to see him!omegalucas wrote:Wait you were at Anime North too. Like COME ON he's the original japanese voice for Vegeta...he also voices Cap. Falcon from SSB...
This coming from a guy who prefers the english dub but i also fully respect and enjoy the original japanese dub.

I wasn't cosplaying. His panels were pretty full except the E manga panel. Were you at Dragon Ball night. Maybe we talked in the audience.Shinsa wrote:Yes i did go to Anime North! I only noticed you from your video with Mr. Harikawa reading something in Vegeta's voice. I was actually a couple people behind you when you were recording it. I also think we might have talked to each other....I cant say for sure but the person was commenting on the cards at the table beside Harikawa about why they had cards of Vegeta and Goku Jr and that they should have cards of better characters. Was that you by any chance? if that was you then we did talk to each other lol (I'm a tall asian guy with long hair and glasses)

Yeah that was me. I still can't believe they had Kid Vegeta (DBH) card (not Vegeta jr. as a card).Shinsa wrote:OH WOW! so i did see you!dbzfan7 wrote:I wasn't cosplaying. For my birthday (which is the 19th), I just ordered:
- Last 2 Full Color Manga of the Freeza Saga
- Battle of Gods Soundtrack
- Battle of Gods Blu-ray
(Not Dragon Ball related) - Nightmare: The World Ruler
I wanted to get the Chogashuu, but it was out of stock at CDJapan.

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
So, thanks to a very productive week at the Book Off near my workplace, I now have six of seven hardcover Daizenshuu with both obi and Shenlong Times. (And I paid less for most of them than I did for the ones I had previously.)
Now, if I could just get #2 in the same condition, I'll be all set. It didn't bother me not to have the Shenlong Times when I didn't have any, but now that I have six out of seven, it really bugs me.

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
Here's the latest haul I received from Julian. Unlike the last few, this isn't just (all) stuff being pawned off on me to store in my basement for future historical reference!
The Toriyama art book was expected, and the DBZ Movie 3 program book was also expected (I'm trading one with a Nozawa autograph from Animazement since I couldn't get anything else signed on Sunday for him), but everything else was a nice shocker .
The book for "The World of Dragon Ball" isn't very thick, but it's super slick!

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
Just found out today that in my local mall a video game store called "3D Games" sells DBZ wall scrolls and action figures! $20 a pop for the scrolls and for the figures $10 a piece or 3 for $25. They say they always have them! What kinda sucks is I walk into the mall with my girl with about $50 dollars, by her some crap from Burlington Coat Factory for $30. We keep walking and I see a DBZ wall scroll up on their wall. I think OMG Hell Yes! Subtract my beer money and I didn't have enough to get one right then... Luckily they say they have them all the time so I'll be back very soon! Ill post the stuff when I get it. Can't wait!
