I wouldn't jump to the "troll" conclusion right off the bat.

They might be completely uneducated on the subject and have jumped to a bunch of conclusions and then just gotten defensive and doubled-down on their viewpoints after being challenged on it.

I have absolutely no idea who the person is, so I can't really make that judgement call, but it's a possibility.

Zagon2 thinks the funimation dub is the only canon dub. He said it came first. He also said he talked to Akira on SKYPE and Akira supposedly said "Freeza mother was one of the Kai killed by Boo. I originally wanted Freeza to look like his mother and that's why I chose Linda Young for Freeza. Dragonball AF was cancelled before it aired but I can ensure you that Freeza mother is indeed a Kai. Freeza is half Frost Demon and half Kai. This is why Freeza was so strong. Hope that clears up some things" you telling me that's NOT a troll?

There's been no defined canon, so you could pretty much decide the 'canon' as as you please. Although if you say stuff like what that guy said, people will question it.

I also saw someone claiming that the 'I am the hope of the universe' speech was the most memorable line in Dragon Ball Z (and not for being bad). This was on the official DBZ subreddit. The idiocy there is unbearable which is one of the reasons I signed up to this magnificent forum.

And is it the forum itself (you know, an inanimate digital object composed of programming), or the administration team that runs it? Or the people who post here? And is there an actual group/trend you can point to that defines said "majority", because from my stats, the "majority" are people from outside North America, and I somehow doubt that's what people are thinking.

This is cute, but you know exactly what I'm talking about. And there's really no sense in getting angry about me saying that because it's one of the reasons I registered here in the first place. I mean, I considered myself an avid fan, but even some of the thoughts I see posted around here has me rolling my eyes. Seriously, you run around correcting everyone's grammatical and spelling mistakes, that just screams being overly anal to me.

Again, no need to have your feathers ruffled about it, a spade is a spade. I'm not excluding myself from this though.

Running around saying "Blah blah blah elitist" just strikes me as, "I read something I don't like so nyah", and that's hysterical to me.

It's a rule on this forum to have proper grammar and spelling. It's to help people better understand what you're trying to say. VegettoEX is a moderator so naturally he would correct those mistakes. I don't know of any logical person that discounts the manga in their personal canon. The problem is when you get to the guidebooks, anime, and video games.

Goku is only stronger then Vegeta cause Goku has ssj3! Vegeta is the strongest character in dbz. He's stronger then SSJ 1 and SSj2 Goku. He's stronger then Mystic Gohan.

Well that's not really inaccurate, "anime" is really just what the Japanese call animation people in the west just started calling Japanese animation "anime" (probably for convenience) and somewhere down the road the notion that "anime" is a separate form of animation spread. So calling DB a cartoon would technically be no worse then calling Ben 10 an anime.
