This was done in MS Paint with a mouse. No references or outside sources other than skin colors. Essentially all hand drawn by me.

The animation wasn't aggressive the character design was.hleV wrote:And since both the artwork and the animation portray Vegeta as aggressive, you lose the argument.TheGmGoken wrote:^ My original comment. No excusesIt still wasn't aggressive in terms of art work and animation
Re: Fan Works Explosion
Is that based off of something? Like somebody else said it looks kind of western and reminds me of some of those fold out character collection pages from X-Men or something like that. In any case very nice work.Snail wrote:Just finished this little piece for a convention.

More pictures from the convention!!
This was our first convention ever. Doing commissions were pretty fun and the pressure definitely made things interesting. Definitely one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done. I only had one piece to sell this year due to being a last minute addition to the team. I will be returning with a vengeance!

Re: Fan Works Explosion
As much as I like your DB pic, Snail, I think my favorite (assuming you did that one as well) is the art from Paper Man. That short is just...ridiculously heartwarming.

Nice! You have great tastes. Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Korra, and Paperman?!
OMG! You did my favorite of everything!
Dragon Ball Z: fav anime
Legend of Korra: fav cartoon (both Avatar series "technically" aren't anime...)
Kingdom Hearts: fav game series
Paperman: fav short (EASILY the best short of all time) The guy reminds me so much of Aladdin for some reason...

Broli had gold SSJ hair in movie 10. It's pretty subtle but it's not green like in movie 8.dbzfan7 wrote:Didn't he see what LSSJ Broly looked like?hleV wrote:Goten never met a green-haired Broli :/

The different color originally came from the mind control device.

James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
