Early power levels make the character strength downright terrifying.

If 300 is enough to bust the moon, 150 million easily sounds like a galaxy buster doesn't it?

That's why Toriyama abandoned using power levels, and why Oda is miserly in giving them doling them out in One Piece, and even makes it so that bounty levels (not having one) can be wildly inaccurate.

Moon's mass = 7.3477 × 1022 kg (0,012300 Earths).

Sun's mass = 1.9891×1030 kg (333.000 Earths).

So, if a power level of 300 is enough to destroy the moon, using simple math ((333000 x 300) / 0,012300), it would require a power level of 8.121.951.219,5 to destroy the sun.

Our galaxy, the milky way, has around 400 billion stars, many of which bigger than our sun. And in Dragon Ball there's only 4 galaxies in the universe, so the north galaxy might be even bigger than the milky way.

So the numbers to actually destroy a galaxy in one attack, especially considering the amount of empty space that the attack would have to cover, are just too big, at least using real numbers. If we forget about the real numbers and just focus on the simple logic of dragon ball, then its possible, but the earliest reference to a solar system buster is Super Perfect Cell who is much stronger than 150 million (Namek SSJ Goku) so, even in Dragon Ball, it requires much more than 150 millions to destroy a galaxy.

I prefer the good ol "Toriyama doesn't give a shit about science"...I doubt he cared about statistics, power levels, or destructive capacity and how they all scaled together.

Yup. The characters can do what the plot commands them to do. So fuck the math. If The plot wants someone to blow up the sun with a power level of 10,000 then the plot says so. Fuck math. Fuck the science. Toriyama didn't care. Now I can see why some people would do basic math stuff such as Ki multipliers and perhaps Power levels sometimes but for the Galaxy, Solar System, Sun, Planet(s), and the moons I think it's pointless.

Pretty much what I think...Toriyama doesn't give a shit about scaling in anyway. This isn't DC or Marvel.

Didn't he do a lot of these over the holidays?

Probably school, work, etc. Wish someone could commission him so he'd have more time to work on this.

My guess is maybe he'll do a bunch again when he has time, hopefully he isn't burned out. (and most of his reception has seemed pretty positive)

One thing that would be really cool would be if Goku and Superman were to actually fuse together!

Hearing Superman suggest to move to an abandoned area seems weird after seeing what he did in Man of Steel. Hell even in the cartoons I'm not sure he really tried to do that. He did in the Injustice game with Doomsday.

It all depends on the writer really.

Funny you mention Man of Steel cause I hear theres talks in Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice that Superman actually gets a statue for his actions.
