I liked the scene too. It was logical from an in-universe point of view. That said, the movie still sucks.

Killa la Kill is by the same people who did Gurren Lagann. I'm hesitant to watch it as well because I hear there are quite a few CGI moments but I may give it a shot.

Kill-la-K is a neat show, but there's a ridiculous amount of naked girls running around, so you'll look pretty silly watching it with any girls or friends unless they are liberal and open minded.

Killa la Kill is by the same people who did Gurren Lagann. I'm hesitant to watch it as well because I hear there are quite a few CGI moments but I may give it a shot.

It's awesome!! It's super-hyper-crazy-fast-paced-comedy yet also fairly deep when it wants to be!! Also, the fanservice is pretty wonderful. If you haven't seen it yet, shame on you!
