I cringe every time I see someone post "BRUCE FAULCONER IS THE GOD OF COMPOSERS!" The ignorance isn't really their fault...but man it bugs me.
Yeah, I cringe at that too. Credit should only go to those who deserve it. It sucks that so many people could potentially be fans of you, Michael Smith, Evan Jones, et cetera, but instead don't even know of your existence.
If I were a fan of the music from Funimation's dub...my iTunes library would include all the Faulconer Productions songs with the appropriate composer listed for each song. Or at least, I'd do tons of researching to find out who composed which piece for as many songs as possible.

If Wakamoto sounds like a little girl, then I have no idea what sounding manly is.

Sounding like Sean Schemmel, Master of Sound and Space, as penguintruth would put it.

Yeah it's confusing to figure out who did what, especially since many tracks are collaborations or smash ups. btw replace Evan Jones with Julius Dobos and you have the right composer list.
Evan Jones was the main mixing engineer at Funimation who started in the Garlic Jr Saga timeframe I believe. He eventually took Barry's place of being the guy who wrote the instructions for us to follow at Faulconer Productions. Evan also was the one who edited the music for the Rock Band movie soundtracks, but I don't believe he ever wrote anything for the show. He could have though, he's a musician/drummer himself.
Julius is keyboard player (like Mike and Bruce) who came over from Hungary to write music for the show. He was used to writing for live orchestra before that. ugh, so jealous of what he got to do there, but feel bad that he got trapped at Faulconer Productions for 6 years after that. He's the one behind SSJ3 and the Buu themes.

It really does suck that you guys get so little recognition for your individual efforts on the score. It's always kinda bugged me about pop music too, where most of the 'stars' only do the singing. Sure, vocals are important, but how about some fame for the people actually playing the instruments too? Bah.
And ooh, I love the SS3 theme and seem to remember liking the Boo themes as well. Nice to finally know which name to attribute those to.

Exactly. If you like the music, then the credit shouldn't go to the singer. For bands, though, it's usually just "I like this band. They have great music.", but for those famous singers who just sing what they're given, people think they wrote the music/lyrics themselves. :/

Oh! Sorry. I knew Evan Jones did SOMETHING. Haha.
Well, you three do deserve credit for what you did. It's a shame Funimation doesn't care about credits. I mean, they've called Chiho Kiyo'oka "Chiho Kikuchi" for the past 18 years despite the re-re-re-re-re-releases. -_-

Yeesh. That's not even proper English. I mean, it's stupid all on its own, but considering the idiot who made it can't even get proper verb tenses down... yeesh.

Well, it came from 9GAG, the absolute cesspit of garbage and unfunny junk that sits even below the nonsense that Facebook shits out. Not entirely sure what you expect from that site.
Just horrible.

That's actually the second time I've seen an image of Goku where someone has clearly photoshopped an extra spike of hair for no reason. Like...why? Why are you doing that? What is it adding to the look?

It's literally full of horrendous, unfunny memes and regurgitated or butchered posts from Reddit or 4chan. The 'community' is made up of children, it's just awful.

Just curious what is improper here, outside of random capital letters?

They used "Voice" instead of "voiced."

It should say "voiced". It says "voice".

Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Sexist to say that it's weird for a young adult man to be voiced by an old lady?

Yeah, I think it's a potentially absurd statement to make, as well as purposefully inflammatory, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it sexist.

There are many male anime and cartoon characters who are voiced by girls, but when it's Goku, fans have to go like "Oh, dear God please alert the authorities!!?"
