Why are you mad? He just gave the boys and Gotenks as a whole a huge buff.

I like how Boo is pretty much a god and yet is still inferior to Vegetto and probably Gast as well lol.

He's being extremely generous by giving Goten a boost. Buu could/should have just waited for the match and then tortured him to death.
I misread sorry. Happens occasionally.

I didn't read it correctly. My fault

As long as Cell still crushes Link Tapion, I'm fine with Buu giving power ups to the cannon fodder.

Is the final panel worded strangely? I can't quite tell what Boo is getting at. Does he mean he'd like to have Oob as a childhood friend?

For some reason, I interpreted it as "I'm going to tap into his dreams and assume the form of a childhood friend of his to talk to him".

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

That makes sense, I guess that's it.

Seriously this Boo stuff right now is really intriguing. It's been a long while since DBM kept me anticipating for more, but right now it is doing around 1/3 of the job it did for me years back. I'm still not hooked, but I do look forward to more of this current plot now compared to the "I don't give a shit/laugh at it's stupidity" feeling I've had for the past while. Zen Boo is best Boo.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

I can't help but wonder what he would have given Pan should she had one her match.

Maybe Buu will give Freeza a boost of some kind? Then again, Sailagir might still want to maintain his "Goku beats his opponents in one attack" gag for one more round, at least.

Since Goku in DBM is powerful enough to out Freeza easily then it won't surprise me if he does make Freeza strong. Strong enough for him to transform into his 5th form.

From what we've seen it seems like Buu still outclasses them. Gast obviously got fooled.

He's pretty conniving sure and we still don't know what his true intentions are but while he may be confident that he'd do better against Vegetto now I think h wanting to absorb Broly was him trying to cement his superiority which he wasn't sure and most likely still knows that he doesn't have.

Maybe he's doing all of this because he (along with Dai Kaioshin) senses something wrong with Vegetto and now Boo is trying to do what he can to make sure that incase Vegetto goes on some sort of rampage (which he will according to Bardock's vision) the heroes (along with himself) can put up some sort of a fight.

There's nothing in the manga saying that he can't use magic. If Buu's power "survived" the reincarnation process, why not some of his magic? DBM is basically saying that Uub just needs to learn how to use it.

Zen Boo is the greatest character in DBM. Also, 'zen buu' is an awesome pun, too ('zenbu' = 'everything').

Baba of all people can use magic. I'm sure Uub will learn just fine.

Just a question though: how come Buu teaching Gotenks all the secrets of fusion was instantaneous but teaching Uub magic requires infiltrating his dreams?

In universe: Buu just wanted to do it differently.

Out of universe: some character development.
