I wondered about that too. ? In Dragonball, some of the tournament contestants were too fast for the audience to see but that seemed to have been forgotten later on. I think the normal humans were able to see Goten vs Trunks at the tournament and SSJ3 Goku vs Fat Buu. What I'm wondering is where did all these audience members come from? Doubt he'll be disqualified for that. It's not a ring out or anything. That's not a rule. They warned them to not touch the lower wall because once they get into the ring, an energy barrier will rise from the lower wall. Remember Salagir has his general tier system.
