I'm confused. Another user said Piccolo told the background of his(Gast) last name and now you're saying that it wasn't explained?

I'm going to go crazy once Gotenks fight Boo. I'm cheering Goten(ks) all the way. Despite knowing the outcome. Gotenks going to kick some ass!

Carcolh probably comes from Caracol, Portuguese and Spanish word for snail.

Gast's name is apparently a French pun on the mythical beast from the French Folklore named "Lou Carcolh", a giant half slug half serpent monster.

It's explained right there in the comic:

I wondered about that too. I guess the contestants who can sense energy were able to figure out what was happening and those who couldn't sense energy kept quiet because they didn't want to reveal that they couldn't.
RandomGuy96 wrote:How the hell did some of the contestants and all of the audience see anything with how fast everyone is moving?
Maybe they just liked the light show :P? In Dragonball, some of the tournament contestants were too fast for the audience to see but that seemed to have been forgotten later on. I think the normal humans were able to see Goten vs Trunks at the tournament and SSJ3 Goku vs Fat Buu. What I'm wondering is where did all these audience members come from? Were they random people from the 20 competing universes or invited from the universes?

I was talking about the Dallas football game, not Gast's name.

Last panel alone tells us this match for Goku won't be like the others. We all know who's gonna win, but like Eliem's last match, I still want to be entertained.

"Don't touch the low wall." Do they mean during the match? Otherwise Goku may have just got himself disqualified >__>
Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.
Draws comics that may or may not have been blatantly inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga.

"Please don't touch the low wall". Goku touches the low wall.
You never cease to amaze me, Goku.

I bet his sudden fall has something to do with it. I wouldn't believe that Freeza is able to handle the gravity better than Goku.

Doubt he'll be disqualified for that. It's not a ring out or anything. Maybe it has something to do with the shield being activated properly for that split second or something.

So looking forward to this match!

Didn't he get a power boost from Buu?

That's not a rule. They warned them to not touch the lower wall because once they get into the ring, an energy barrier will rise from the lower wall. Its all explained in the graphic that they showed at the top of the page.

Why not? DBM has base Goku being weaker than Freeza. And in DBM's backstory for Freeza and his species, their home planet is at 100G, so 1000G for Freeza is like 10G for a Earthling.

Buu taught him something and covered it up with a fake memory. It could be a technique or anything.

Remember Salagir has his general tier system. If Freeza is still an Super Saiyan level opponent, then he should probably be able to tolerate the gravity better than Goku until he transforms.

If you assume Goku's base is weaker than Freeza then it makes total sense that Freeza should tolerate it better.

Salagir goes by Freeza > Base Saiyans.

Salagir goes by Freeza > Base Saiyans.
100% Freeza or just regular 50% Freeza?

Freeza doesn't appear to be powered up at all, so I indeed find it strange for base Goku to be weaker than him.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!
