I think this is one of those things where what happens in the illusion does real damage. It is magic after all.

I'm guessing if they're on a "different planet". The planet's rotation and revolution affects how fast the years go by. Making Goku age 20 years (meaning 10 earth minutes is 20 years there). However since Goku ain't from that planet. It shouldn't effect him. In NORMAL cases. This is a mind trick sooooo fuck Science

Freeza only called it an imaginary planet. It might not even exist in his universe. Freeza might just have imagined one that benefited him extremely.

Anyway, science and Dragon Ball don't really mix, so...

Eh, I guess. It just seems to me like Goku has been going SSJ3 too often in this tournament for very little. Whilst the real Goku would know how much strain SSJ3 puts in the body and refrain from transforming until absolutely necessary.

But I won't question it, not my series.

I wonder if Freeza does end up winning. It could be make a nice twist since everyone is expecting Goku to win.

I agree, mostly because Goku should no better than using Super Saiyan 3 when he's in a time stream. That's obviously going to use up his time faster, and he's never been able to hold SS3 for 20 years.
