If you watch the trailer, you would see that there's a red guy with bull horns that's beating Piccolo. Piccolo. Some more scenes later and we see Mystic Gohan fall to the ground. Mystic Gohan.
The hell? So, right off the bat, Frieza already has a henchman that's more powerful than Piccolo and Mystic Gohan? WTF?
I'm sure it will be explained. Piccolo, the former Demon King, having a rival who looks like a real devil is epic. They better have a satisfying fight with Piccolo looking like a major badass.

Why is the idea that any of Freeza's henchmen being stronger than some of the main cast such an alien concept to some people? It happened quite a few times in the Namek arc in the manga, so it's not like this idea has never been done before. And besides, Freeza's army consist of soldiers from all sort of alien races across the universe, some of which may have just as much potential to be unlocked or hidden strength as the Saiyans or the Nameks do. If anything, the fact that Freeza's army could potentially be as strong the top tier warriors among the Z-Fighters creates more tension as far the battles go as opposed to making this as dramaless scenario.

Yeah, but if you think about it... this horned henchman was already league more powerful than the Frieza they were trying to resurrect.
The insane part is... if this new henchman is more powerful than Mystic Gohan... then WTF? That would mean we have a henchman of Frieza that's already even more powerful than Super Buu.
Tagoma is billed at Zarbon strength. Abo and Cado are billed at Freeza. They wouldn't need Freeza if people as strong as Piccolo or Ultimate Gohan were apart of the WTO faction. Why bother bringing back a guy notorious for being cruel, demanding, and would totally kill anyone for just coughing annoyingly. The reason conquering planets is tough is that there are no strong soldiers anymore. Everyone with a notable power is dead or no longer part of the army.
Speaking of Bullman. Blame Piccolo. Piccolo being the pimp he is, tested his pimp hand against that Bull's wife. The Bull unlocked his hidden power in an explosive rage and beat the shit out of Piccolo.
Gohan would have one shoted this entire army, but Goku and Vegeta after recently discovered to both be a special kind of ki vampire, sucked out and absorbed Gohan's power and traits. Hence Ultimate Goku and Vegeta being a thing.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Which is exactly why, I'm like.. WTF? Piccolo and Mystic Gohan got beaten by henchmen? It couldn't be golden Frieza because he only showed that form after fighting base Goku for a while, right?

I think he's referring to the fact that I said Mystic Gohan, while the trailer shows him being a SSJ. But, I think it may just be another error thing just like how in the original movie, Gohan was a SSJ in the trailers.
