He has to remind everyone that Dragon Ball is his franchise every now and then, because DBM has pretty much been about all the other universes. Not that that is really a problem though, because they need more development (in the main comic) than the main universe at this point.

Is it possible that this is a self-destruct maneuver? I seem to recall this Buu having successfully absorbed the Goku of his universe.

Still seems like an "explosive wave", same as Piccolo at the Tenkaichi Budokai grounds, to me. But it'll be at least a little interesting to see how this plays out.

Okay, so I didn't think it would be that big of an explosion. I mean, he probably could make one that size even with his smaller body, but I figured he'd reign it in a bit to just take out enough of Buu's body to no longer be trapped...

Buu regenerates obviously.
But Goku...either dead or stone.
If stone, gets absorbed.
If dead, Buu absorbs him in Other World... (Opens a chance for another chapter)

If he's stone though - like a'la what Vegeta did against the fat Boo - that pretty much automatically qualifies as dead too. So if Boo learned Instant Transmission from this much like how Kid Boo would do in the main timeline, and heads to Other World to absorb some people, that's definitely a fun twist.
