Would you like to see a redone version of Dragon Ball GT?

Even more supervised by Akira Toriyama?

The title pretty much says it all. Let me know your opinion.

Nah GT is a thing in the past. I would rather see new and original stories then repeat the same stuff we had before.

I'd happily take a version based on Kaboom's ongoing rewrite of the series. I think the Super 17 idea was awful, but otherwise there was a lot of potential there.

I certainly wouldn't mind a re-written version of GT. There quite a few good concepts the show came up with but didn't know how to handle them at all. But it would have to be heavily re-written, from top to bottom.

No. Maybe just some concepts being used in a new material.

Sure, there was a lot of neat ideas in GT. I genuinely like it as a series and think it's fine but if it had a Toriyama hand holding redo then I'm sure it'd do great! If they did it though then I'd really want them to finally explain the truth of what SSJ4 was really supposed to be! Cause head canon is great but official canon is greater! :)

I can't really imagine how they'd go about that now, but in terms of some hypothetical remake that spanned the original manga through a revised version of GT? Happily.

As far as the brand name goes, GT is barely acknowledged anymore. I personally don't see it happening at all, and I'm not so sure I'd want it to happen either.

I acutally prefer this series of theatrical releases. It's better to have a "Post Z anthology" at least.

Who knows, maybe a miniseries here and there.

I don't know why people want a GT remake so bad? People wanted a remake of GT for the last 10 years. I rather have Toriyama keep on doing movies with fresh new and original ideas. Most ideas in GT where just rehash of things we seen before. The Black Star Dragon Ball arc to rehash the humor and style of adventure of the Pilaf saga and failed. Bebi saga was just mixing things of Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans, the Garlic Jr. saga and the Sayain Saga. Super 17 saga had Hell on Earth which was done in Fusion Reborn and Super 17 was another super cyborg which was already done with Super 13 a few years back (Super 13 was a lame version of Cell anyways). The Shadow Dragon saga is the only saga that's original and even that saga can be done much better in my opinion.

Not particularly, but I would like to see an escape from hell scenario done justice and I would also like the Shadow Dragons to be redone.

I like the bit of Nappa and Vegeta seeing each other again for the first time in years in GT. I wanted the heroes interact with the old villains again but we never did. Even the team up with Cell and Freeza was a total joke. If they wanted Hell on Earth done again then they should do it properly and have a more original villain then having #17 become a major bad guy in my opinion.

Not to antagonize or anything but I see none of that as 'Rehashes' More so as 'tributes' or 'callbacks'. I mean of course you're entitled to your opinion but in all honesty...that's what those were, tributes, callbacks and homages.

While I'm generally open to new things for the series, I really, really wouldn't want a redone version of Dragon Ball GT because I wasn't too fond of any of the ideas introduced by GT in the first place.

-Goku being a kid was just a dumb way to nerf/but not really nerf Goku which didn't really add anything
-The whole idea of the black star dragon balls is just really weird and makes little sense for existing in the first place
-The evil Tuffle baby revenge scheme was not necessarily too bad, but it just didn't seem to be a proper plot progression in terms of serious enemies to fight
-Super Android 17 and the opening of hell is dumb... No more is really needed to be said.
-The whole evil dragons thing just didn't work for me. I know a lot of people think of it as a really interesting idea, but I really just can't dig it.

Absolutely not. Judging by the godawful new movies, Toriyama-GT would turn out even worse.

You don't want to make a joke about Goku stealing the spotlight from Goku?

The GT anime is what it is, rather than having it redone, I'd rather see something new instead. Having Toriyama revise GT? Why would he do that? Toriyama is at his best when given (at least a certain degree of) free reign to do what he likes, which isn't there with GT already having the basic story and outline there.

A revised version of GT in the form of a manga by Ooishi or Toyotarou though, would be something I'd accept gladly.

Not to be that guy. But does Toriyama even remember what DBGT is? Like if you ask him would he say "what's that?".

I think GT is fine how it is.

Yes but it can't be from anyone other then Toriyama and only after he's done with his new stories.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
