Whis definitely seems more fitting, given his role, but I wouldn't complain about Jaco doing it. Though, in that case, I would have to demand title cards with the writing and background pictures drawn by hand, in-character.

Jaco doing the narration in Dragon Ball Super would be pretty cool and funny, too.

Yes!! Oh my God! I would die laughing if that were the case. And it would be such a page of Toriyama's book. Now I really want Jaco to do the narration for Dragon Ball Super.

I didn't realize how much I'd come to enjoy Jaco, Whis, and Beerus until we started talking about having one or more of them narrating this show.

Now I really hope they go this route.

Jaco is really an interesting character, that's why he needs to come back and be a regular character in Dragon Ball S, just like Tights could turn out to be interesting as well.

I think Jaco would be a great permanent addition to the Dragon Ball cast. He seems to have instant chemistry with everyone he encounters in ROF.

I want at least one Yama'uchi Shigeyasu episode. Yama'uchi returned to Toei Animation to direct Happiness Charge PreCure! Episode #32 (14 September 2014), so hopefully Producer Kido Atsushi or Series Director Chioka Kimitoshi can convince him to act as episode director or storyboard artist for one episode.

I was gonna say was that the Iona episode with the color de-saturation filter thing halfway through; it was. I really did like what they did with that. Yeah I'd definitely like to see that person work on a Super episode. :3

On the subject of narrator I would totally be down for Whis as the narrator, his voice is really nice in both Japanese and English.

Dragon Ball Super will be 100 episodes long (at least).
The target will be children, Dragon Ball Kai fans.
Daisuki simulcast is not planned.

How reliable is that site? Because the inclusion of an episode count has me really wary. Not that the people at Toei probably aren't having these discussions, but they are almost never announced...

Well, if the 100 episodes thing is true, that seems like it might align pretty well with my previously mentioned thoughts on their production. That we'll probably still get a third movie in 2017 and that Super will basically eat up the time between (possibly even leading into the next film). If the series is still going strong at that point, they may consider continuing, otherwise they can cut their losses and stick with films or whatever.

They can do a lot with 100 episodes considering there won't be any filler in them.

So, the "100 episode long" rumor is already starting to spread yet again... The source says "tendrá un mínimo de 100 episodios" (going to have 100 episodes at least,) so regardless of the reliability of the source, "Dragon Ball Super will be 100 episodes long" is ALREADY WRONG.
