This fandom is bizarre in the way that we assume things. How could we assume Goku lost the ability to turn SSJ? You guys realize that the idea of "Super Saiyan" is more important than the "Dragon Balls" themselves, right? They may have named the show Super Saiyan Z. Goku would never lose SSJ, it's almost asinine to think that because of SSGSS.

Edit: Why is Goku being a farmer shocking? Even I knew he was going to be a farmer in this, because one of the guidebooks that came out after the 2008 special said that's his occupation.

My only Gripe is that Gohan has let us down ONCE AGAIN!

The only characters that were "Frigging old" at the end of Z are the ones who already stopping being relevant in fights in the Buu saga (or even earlier). Goku and Vegeta are still as young as ever, Goten, Trunks and Goten are pretty young, Pan and Uub are introduced. The "everyone is too old" argument isn't a very good one in my opinion.

I'm sure the series will be canceled after 10 episodes if they beat around the bush with needless pre-RoF fluff instead of actually moving forward to what people actually want to see.

People want to see good stories regardless of when they take place.

The animation doesn't look interesting. I'm not surprised that Yamamuro returns as the character designer. Either that or someone took over the position and Yamamuro just happens to be the animation supervisor for the very first episode.

I do hope that the series director will force Yamamuro to embrace a new world to make the animation look much better.

I blame the Ultimate Gohan/SSJ fiasco for creating this mentality. Why is Goku becoming SSJ suddenly shocking to some people? SSJGSSJ doesn't cancel every other transformation Goku has achieved. He can become a SSJ whenever he damn well pleases.

Man, I'm surprised at how rage-induced some people got given it was a 15 second clip with barely anything shown and no context that could perhaps calm their rage.

Anyways, was nice to finally have some footage shown. Dunno how I feel about the song beyond wanting Kageyama back still, but the animation looks pretty solid (they didn't give this to the C or D squad at least).

Can't wait to find out more.

OP song doesn't impress me, but then again DB has moved away from epic Kagayama-esque rock ever since GT went on it's 90's pop wave. Kai should've been an indication as to what kind of OP we were gonna get.

But damn, I really do miss those days of Final Bout, The Biggest Fight was probably DB's last greatest intro song since, anything.

Oh yeah, Raging Blast's one was good too.
