They handled that very well. I completely agreed with what they said. I love how they made it seem that it wouldn't be right for Goku to beat Superman. Goku represents someone who wants to fight the best while Superman represents the best. Literally nothing can beat Superman... Not even Goku... and I'm totally cool with that. Because if Goku were to beat Superman then he just wouldn't be the Goku we know. It's the same reason why Goku didn't beat Beerus. Goku represents the fighter... Not the winner.

Let's keep it that way because he's so much more of an interesting character.

You know I can name hundreds of characters from just his own setting (DC Comics) who are stronger than Superman and could beat him (many of them very easily). And many of them have.

Same. It's not like Superman is physically unbeatable, he just manages to overcome stuff even when the odds are against him.

I'm not very familiar with the DC universe. My point is that Goku will never beat Superman and that's a good thing.

Silver age, Bronze age, Post-Crisis/Re-reboot, most of the really overpowered versions (1 million, Prime 1 million, Cosmic Armor), etc. sure. New 52? I wouldn't really know. Early Post-Crisis, most animated versions, movie versions, etc.? Not really.

I wanna know how they scaled SSGSS tho, that form has barely no feats besides being pierced by a mob laser.
Fight was boring and fast. First one was way better.

He lifted infinity and he's even more insanely fast than they portrayed last time. I find it hard to believe that there are some people above him like Darkseid. I think by no limits they mean, the writers can literally have him do ANYTHING, and it won't be bullshit.

That is my biggest problem. This fight was really boring. I can think of plenty of memorable moments from the last one, but this one hardly had shit. Only memorable moment was Supes being a boss and walking through Goku's Kamehameha. That's about it. The trailer was more hype than the fight itself.

Likewise, I already forgot what happened besides supes walking through the wave. Oh and I guess the laser eye to Goku's eye for the kill was ok (if it werent used so often, he recently did that to darkseid)

Glad to see that they stuck to their guns on this one. I figured they would give into fan demand to end the fight in Goku's favor, despite the god forms having very few feats.

I love Goku, but Superman's so above Goku in raw ability that even the god form wouldn't push this in his favor. Superman just has more under his belt. He could kill Goku by taking him to the vacuum of space, run him through a star, lobotimize him with heat vision, crush his trachea, explode his lungs via Super breath (or Freeze them), keep him underwater until he drowns, the list goes on.

Goku's got less variability with his abilities, let's be honest here, and Superman can endure more environmental effects than Goku can. Superman doesn't need to breath, can handle intense pressure, heat, cold, the vacuum of space, etc.

Superman winning is just the logical outcome.

But Goku always wins in the end!!! DBZ is all about the heroes winning it doesn't matter if Goku is weaker, he is the underdog of the show he always finds ways to surpass someone since the old school Dragon Ball.

That was years ago, prior to BoG and their updated calcs also it only regarded Post Crisis Superman as the N52 reboot hadn't happened yet.

All of this applies to Beerus yet Goku isn't too far off from being able to fully hold his own or even beat him in a fight.

Also I can't help but find it funny that they used a feat with no time frame to deduce that a technically non-canon Superman is over 1,000,000 times the speed of light while in episode 2 of DBS Beerus has a feat which makes him over 3 billion times the speed of light with a stated time-frame.

TBH I don't buy either of those numbers. Too many unknowns and variables.
