Did you try the Mission with Fu? Also This whole UI Goku stamina thing has got me curious. Alright Kanzenshuu! Our goal is to discover UI Goku's recharging stamina AND how to dress our Mentors in actual outfits not just the colors. "Let's do this!..."

Ohhh, that's probably it then. I haven't done the reset yet to allow me to bring Fu into these missions. Guess there'll be a couple more of these that won't hit 100% just yet probably then.GTx10 wrote:Did you try the Mission with Fu?

According to the Japanese website, they'll be in the TP shop in the future. I'm assuming it's what that greyed out "Gift" option is for.GTx10 wrote:Did you try the Mission with Fu? I'm going to go ahead and tell you, Xenoverse 3 has been in production for awhile now, and no, you didn't miss any news, it hasn't been officially announced.Lunaar wrote: Xenoverse 3, to our knowledge, has not started production - so yes, it could be another year or two. I'd love to be wrong and for things to have changed, but last I heard XV3 isn't in active production yet and won't be for a little while (though I'm not ruling out the DLC guys tossing around ideas while they're doing their current work). Plans were for there to be at least one more game between FigtherZ and the next Xenoverse sequel.ArchedThunder wrote:I'm going to go ahead and tell you, Xenoverse 3 has been in production for awhile now, and no, you didn't miss any news, it hasn't been officially announced.Lunaar wrote: Xenoverse 3, to our knowledge, has not started production - so yes, it could be another year or two. Even the mentor costumes?Anime Kitten wrote:Okay, I checked the Japanese website and found out the costumes will indeed be in the TP medal shop at some point. I don't know when you heard that, but XV3 has been in development for a little awhile now. XV2's DLC was done by a small part of the team, not the whole thing.TheDevilsCorpse wrote: I'd love to be wrong and for things to have changed, but last I heard XV3 isn't in active production yet and won't be for a little while (though I'm not ruling out the DLC guys tossing around ideas while they're doing their current work). Bigger budget, more ambitious and redone assets are what I know, I have literally no idea when it's supposed to come out though.

This gets me so pumped! I'm hoping we get that open-world DB game we've been dreaming about for decades!ArchedThunder wrote:I don't know when you heard it that, but XV3 has been in development for a little awhile now. I wouldn't go crazy with speculation, it will probably still very much be a Xenoverse game, not some big open world thing.Phozz wrote: This gets me so pumped! I'm hoping we get that open-world DB game we've been dreaming about for decades!

Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
Admittedly been a while since I obtained my info. It's entirely possible that after the growing popularity of the DLC combined with the complaints of quality and competition of FighterZ (both in production value and sales), that they've started work early to give extra development time to polish things up. I would guess the release plan is still the same though, as development should have already begun on the "new title" a while back. Guess we'll see. We're not too far off from the typical game announcement months.ArchedThunder wrote:I don't know what you heard and when you heard it, but XV3 has been in development for a little awhile now. Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
That's true, but at the same time I feel like it'd be hella easy to implement. We already have most of the iconic places from DB present within the game. Just extend some of them and add new places such as Kame House, Beerus's Planet, Other World, & ToP Arena. I feel like that'd be great.ArchedThunder wrote:I wouldn't go crazy with speculation, it will probably still very much be a Xenoverse game, not some big open world thing.Phozz wrote: This gets me so pumped! If it's been awhile then they might have started development after you were told it hadn't started yet. I don't know exactly when it started, but I was told that it was in development in October-ish (might have been November or September, can't exactly remember).TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Admittedly been a while since I obtained my info. Xenoverse 3 being in development right now wouldn't really stop a new game coming out before it, I would imagine it'd probably be a completely different studio making what ever that new game is.

The discussion was had in November, but the info the source had may have been from a bit prior. Probably just barely misaligned to get slightly outdated info or something.ArchedThunder wrote:If it's been awhile then they might have started development after you were told it hadn't started yet. Anyway, from what I was told, the next shouldn't be from Dimps or ArcSys, and isn't their typical genres either. So yeah, nothing is stopping said game from being developed and released next alongside everything else going on. Just so long as they didn't decide to cancel it for XV3 or whatever.

Those are what I was referring to, but on that note, I think the Fused Zamasu and Zen'ō clothes will be TP shop items as well.Phozz wrote:Even the mentor costumes?

Oh! That makes sense. Okay asked and answered. Thank you.
Now for those knowledgeable in XV2, I have a Namekian character with a level 5 QQ bang that gives a boost in Ki blast attacks. (Ex: Kamehameha and etc) He's also decked out with Potential Unleashed and has 100 points thrown into his Ki Blast section of his stats and he's at level 99. So with that said, why are the latest PQs a bit of a challenge for me? Shouldn't my Supernova (Cooler version) be roasting my CPU controlled foes?
Yes the blast does wonderful damage but I've seen Saiyan cac dominate with 100% Big Bang Kamehameha. Is it just a matter of using said Ultimate (and/or a better ultimate) or perhaps the latest PQ are just indeed hard/tedious? Keep in mind that I've had many, many past experiences with user controlled Saiyans who utterly wreck CPUs with their Ultimates so while this isn't new for me I would still like to know the "secret" behind their Ultimate Attack power. Maybe it's just "Saiyans, am I right?"

Is there still a way to change the ki color of attacks? Or was that never confirmed to begin with?

Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
On topic of Xenoverse 3, I'd be happy to know it was already in development, but at the same time, I'm fine with it taking a bit longer too to make the next one even bigger and better than what we already have. It should be mind-blowing if all goes well.
I'm especially curious as to this part. If it was just not typically genre, it'd rule out fighting games, but if it's not typical genres, plural, then...that rules out RPG's too, wouldn't it? We don't have a ton of RPG's (especially not traditional ones), but pseudo-RPG's probably make up the next most common type of game, so if it's not that type either, then what the heck type of game would it be I wonder?TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Anyway, from what I was told, the next shouldn't be from Dimps or ArcSys, and isn't their typical genres either. Oh yeah, they got bumped up in difficulty for sure. SSJBlue helps mitigate it, but they are still harder.GTx10 wrote:Anime Kitten wrote:According to the Japanese website, they'll be in the TP shop in the future. Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
I wasn't trying to be that vague about it. I guess the majority of DB games typically fall under the fighter category, but there's still variety to the games we've gotten over the last decade from Spike, Dimps, ArcSys, etc and their 2D fighters, 3D fighters, "DB simulators". Though I suppose those are more of sub-genres.Gyt Kaliba wrote:I'm especially curious as to this part. Maybe I'm probably better off just saying what I was told was coming next isn't a "fighting game".
But if they've already switched gears on XV3's development compared to the info I had, don't hold me to this necessarily being true anymore either.
