Yeah. That sounds right. They both get a solid 9 weeks to work on their episodes.

Lovely stuff!
I'll be frank, I actually prefer Tate's expressions over Shida's in this instance, though I think that probably has to do with the fact that Shida's scene was just a short action cut, while Tate's included extended dialogue scenes, which allowed him to get expressive. The fact that Shida's work is corrected doesn't really help.

I think Yamamuro did some correction work on those Shida shots.

You can see Goku's body, hair and shading.
It's better than what Yammamuro did with Shida's cut in BoG.
I'm bad at English and still learning. If there's anything wrong, please correct me. :D

Almost definitely, Shida's shading is missing throughout most of the scene.

Anybody miss how people's hair and clothing would move during a transformation/powerup? Everyone still moves like they're made of plastic.

A fairly standard episode. Nothing really stuck out as bad or great. Just perfectly fine.

I really enjoyed this one. There were some good cuts in there. NEP looks really good too. Looks are we are in the shit is picking up phase now in terms of animation.

Ono's half was a little slow, but there were some nice bits of animation, mostly effects work. The art was a lot more consistent than his half of 93. I was a bit disappointed by Manabe's half, it wasn't bad or anything but outside of Otsuka's work it was fairly standard. Overall it was a really good episode though.
NEP looks nice, even though it looks like we've got some more bank.

Also saw from the NEP that they recycled some animation from the opening again and it looks like they're going to recycle Brianne's transformation sequence from Episode 91 for the next episode

Her transformation was probably made to be recycled, just like in magical girl anime.

Great stuff! Though after last week, anything would have impressed me.

Nothing particularly noteworthy in the first half, but a lot more movement than we've typically seen in the 'lesser' halves in this tournament so far. I'm fairly sure Shin Youngsoon did Roshi's section. The effects work was very familiar.

Second half seemingly kicked things off with Otsuka's work, which was obviously the highlight of the episode. Again, likely due to time, he doesn't seem to be able to deliver to his full potential, but even so, it's pretty clear he's a cut above the rest.

Manabe's work was nice, though I expected a little more out of him. Either way, it's interesting to see his style evolving to be a little closer to the character sheets. May just be him correcting Tu, maybe.

Next week looks quite strong. Looking forward to breaking that down once the episode's up of the various simulcast services.

Well.... I don't need an HD edition to admit that this episode looked great.
The animation was good (Roshi's, Kasheral's, and Caulifla+Kale).
Even smaller fights with Goku vs Tornado and 18 with Tapper looked good.
That was what the anime needed. After 1 mediocre episode, 1 very good.
Next week will have Tate bank+Op Bank but doesn't even matter since the rest looked so good.
(I was so hyped for Otsuka's cut since the NEP had some good parts but it looks like that these "some" were the whole cut. Still the guy can't give something that can blow us away)

Maybe their sacrifice of 4 episodes helped after all and the production can finally manage the workload

I wasn't paying that much attention to the animation to define which animator did which. Did Otsuka do the beam struggle between Kale/Caulifla and the Pride Troopers?

Fair point. That awesome cut from Tate was designed for the sole purpose of being used again later.
