It's a Very big deal.

His name is Zoro. Oda Wrote Zoro. Plus, If they use Zoro it means it's the Edited Manga Release, meaning... yeah, a lot of BS...

"Zolo" is a sign that it's the Edited Manga.

That's all I need to say.

It'd be like if you picked up a Dragon Ball Manga Volume and saw Popo had no lips.

Pretty sure he wrote ゾロ, so both are acceptable romanizations.

Pretty sure he Wrote Zoro, so Zoro is his name. When Viz decided to rename him "Zolo" they started also editing Art, not only to make his name Match their Edit, but lots of other stuff too...
They tranlsated "Mogu Mogu no Mi" (Mole Mole Fruit) as the "Diggy Diggy Fruit" and the "Tori Tori no Mi: Model Falcon" (Bird Bird Fruit: Model Falcon) as the "Tweety Tweety Fruit" . So "Zolo" is a Sign that the manga is edited.

ANYWAYS, this is off topic.

So howabout that Colorized Dragon Ball Manga?

Is it really gonna be one a week forever? Or do you think they'll intend to speed it up a bit as we go along? I mean, it'll take them almost a decade at their current pace. ^^;;

I'm grateful for the full color, but ten years is even longer in internet time.
On hiatus.

Despite still loving the good old Kanzenban more, I'm quite fond of this digital release and the official "manga colors" that are revealed.

I wonder if they had Toriyama saying what colors he wanted at the time and they're using it now, or if they just contact him to ask him how he imagined colors at the time.

They seem to be adapting the colors to what Toriyama did everytime there was a full-color page, but for other elements not included in any full-color page (whether it's for now of forever), such as Gyumao and the Kame Hame Ha, what do they base it upon? Probably have a list of what Toriyama wanted at the time or they ask him directly nowadays, with quick mails or phone calls or whatever. Or maybe they just decide what they guess would have been the way Toriyama would have colored it.

I really love the manga colors of Gyumao or the idea of the red Kame Hame Ha (it's actually white for most of it, but the surrounding is fire-red... will it become fully white with the next full-color page of Goku using it to escape from Pilaf's cell? To be continued...)

They probably just color them as they want. I doubt they ask Toriyama what colors he would use.

I think they are trying to follow the colors of the Kanzenban.

Goku dressed in orange like in the Kanzenban and not blue like in the anime, etc...

So in a way, they are using the colors that Akira wanted.

Yeah, I consider that in any case, it remains the Akira Toriyama color set, since they are based on his full-color pages of the Kanzenban.

Then for characters and elements that Toriyama never colored, they either ask him or choose themselves. As Senzu_Bean implied, there are bigger chances that they choose themselves, but in doing so they are talented so far.

It is the official set of colors for the manga nowadays anyway, just respecting the original intentions of Toriyama, and filling the blanks by giving official manga colors to elements which lacked any official manga colors.

Goku's outfit is blue for the fully coloured pages. As for the Kamehameha, it does appear in the red pages sometimes, where it's red (obviously) so maybe they were going off of that. I don't remember if it ever featured in full colour pages. Goku's blast at Freeza when Freeza had that shield thing around him was fully coloured, and it was plain white.

It does appear in blue (due to the fully colored page of chapter 1) until chapter 3, where another fully colored page turns it orange (as well as Bulma's hair turning purple forever). So he will likely keep his orange color until he leaves that outfit (or rather destroys it when transforming) since the only left fully colored page until that moment (chapter when they're prisoners of Pilaf) still has him wearing orange.

Note that for once, "Budokai Tenkaichi 3" (or "Sparking Meteor") ackknowledged the manga color for Goku's first outfit (picture when choosing the "non-Z" Dragon Ball saga).

Question is: what are they gonna do about Yamcha? Weren't his trousers dark yellow or something in the "prisoners of Pilaf" chapter? Will they change it for that minor difference or stick to their original color choice? The answer in a few weeks...

Not far off, it's actually "Tweet Tweet Fruit Falcon Type". Lance Caselman makes some pretty odd choices for adapting the translation. I'll admit that, but for the most part, the manga remains mostly uncensored. I have no doubt in my mind they'll take off Law flipping the bird to Kid when they get around to it.

How do you Rip the Pages from these files?

I'm trying to do a Print Screen on the One Piece Chapters, and it's not working, whenever the manga viewer is open, it disables the print screen function.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! 8)
As you can see with the post following yours, you're helping a lot of people to be able to keep those pages!

Yeah, that's the problem, they apparently thought of it and locked the print screen function when you're watching the manga pages with their program. Check back the first pages of this thread and SSj_Rambo explains how he does.

If you're too lazy to search, I'll tell you: he uses a very cool program named FastStone Capture. The problem is that you can only use it for 30 days unless you buy it, and uninstalling/reinstalling the program won't help (just like for any program being limited in time). In my case for example, I can't buy it, not only because I'm not too fond of the idea of buying stuff on the web, but also because the computer I use for capturing the manga is not the one I use to connect to Internet, and they likely won't allow a copy/paste from one computer to another, since it would basically give away the program for free for some people!
