Ooft, that was an interesting episode. Looks like the production's feeling the strain a little as we move into climax mode. Toei Phils on the first half with Ide correcting everything, while Hakamada and Karasawa share the second.

From the moment Karasawa's corrections start showing up, everything just gets so much better. Really interested to know who handled the #17 scene. That was excellent!

Takahashi is back next week with Nashizawa, and since we have Nii listed too, I guess we may be getting a lot more supervisors per episode now.
More supervisors is a good thing right? In this instance.

With any luck they're trying to finish episodes as fast as possible to give the finale more time for production.

I feel the episode over-delivered in several aspects. The direction and storyboarding was great and the beam clash was really well done. The art style was constantly well polished, all thanks to Ide for that aspect. Having four supervisors is quite interesting, as I don't think Super has had that many supervisors for one episode before (I could be wrong). Which makes me think this episode was a bit of race against time (Again, I could be wrong).

The NEP though... that... looked... AMAZING. Takahashi is going to blow us away again. The next two weeks will be a grueling wait.

EDIT: The extended cut looks even better.

The ending with the beam struggle and 17 was amazing, the rest was prerry fine, well drawn and the movements were fine, but I didn't like the art style that much at all, it was still a decent + episode overall. As for the NEP, oh my god. Takahashi greatness incoming!

We don't deserve Yuya Takahashi. Good lord, that preview. We have to wait 2 weeks as well. Can't wait to see how the climax of this arc will unravel.

Toshio's writing never disappoints me.
It was a great episode, but that insane NEP just overshadows everything!!!

Just be the character designer for the new Movie, Yuya Takahashi. Seriously, the difference between him and all the others is mind blowing!! Can't believe we had 100+ episodes of DBS without this Monster supervising a single episode. His talent can't go on waste. If he doesn't become the character designer in the future, at least have his style influence the current one.

I just hope that Yuya Takahashi just works on the new movie. I mean he is a freelancer so he may not stay on Super or work on the movie.

Is it possible to clone Yuya Takahashi? Make endless copies of him so he's on every episode ever, and extra ones to reanimate some earlier parts of Super. I'd sacrifice myself for that, and watch the series in hell.

Let's get started man. I just need to call some friends and we will be on it. (I'm joking here)
