When Mike was talking about wishing Toriyama had done more character history pieces like the Trunks thing, I've always thought the godfather of all DB backstories that never happened would have been something detailing how the Ginyu Special Corps formed and what made them so bad ass before they were killed on Namek.

Great podcast topic though. Trunks has always been one of my favorite characters.

I think every character needs a backstory piece. With the obvious exceptions of Goku and (mostly) Vegeta.
