Opinions on Pieces of Music - V4!

It's not bad. I like the acoustic guitar a lot, but I'm not sure how I feel about the harmonica for the melody. I think something like a clean electric or classical/nylon-string guitar, or a flute or violin(s) would've been better for that. That's just me though.

Pretty good piece overall, though I feel the arrangement could've been done a little better, particularly with the violin and choir parts. However, it's not a terrible arrangement, as it sounds to me like it would be fitting for the scene it's used in. Just my two cents.

I haven't watched enough of Kai's Boo arc to know most of Sumitomo's work yet but this sounds very video gamey. I like the buzzing background synth and would have liked to see how it sounded without the drums.

Always liked the build-up in that piece. It's like the instruments slowly appearing in that piece resemble all the ki from everyone being combined into the Genki Dama. Classic Kikuchi through and through.

Love this one. The grand marching rhythm and the way it changes to an even higher and almost happier tone in the middle with the constant vibraslap. Classic.

I like the lead violin and its motif, sounding heroic in a way but also presentimental with the horns in the background. The percussion sounds really odd though, like something bubbling down beneath constantly without much change.

Oh that's because its a rip not the actual track. As for the tokunaga score that is one impressive track perfect for things like a stand off if I recall there's a another version without the beginning

Not bad. The arrangement's a little weird and there's a recurring screeching sound in the background of the piece that I think the piece could've done without, but it is just a trailer theme. It does it's job in hyping you up for the game it's advertising for.

Really dark and ominous in the beginning. Then in the middle part it gets a little mysterious with the short violin strings until it gets all mournful and tragic. And I absolutely love the deep and subdued piano parts here. Makes it almost evil.

Love the violins and mood. I like how the piece is calm too; it fits with everyone's ki being spent at that point in the movie. It all sounds so hopeless for Goku and friends until the very end. Another great one from Kikuchi.
