That is exaggerated. I guess there is no doubt he forgot more about it than about Z but to say he forgot a whole anime that was made to continue his own work by people who animated his own work all the time and whom he helped as advisor is doubtful.TheGmGoken wrote:Not to be that guy. But does Toriyama even remember what DBGT is? Like if you ask him would he say "what's that?".
Would you like to see a redone version of Dragon Ball GT?

Well, I remind that Vegeta's mustache and Bra's riddiculous outfit at ripe age of 10 were Toriyama's ideas...
As much as a would like to see some GT ideas properly developed I strongly doubt that Toriyama will ever attempt it on larger scale. Minus already had it's dose of criticism for "spoiling what was already good". Rewriting whole GT would put him in awkward position from both creative and I don't know how to call it... social? It would be like pointing finger and saying "your ideas are not good enough".

No more gt. I like where we're currently headed much better.

The events and characters are different though. I can't call it the same place. I can however agree that blueper saiyan isn't much more than a palette swap, appearance wise, and I am disappointed in that. I like Beerus and Whis though. I like idea of the 12 universes. I like regular ssjg.

Re: Would you like to see a redone version of Dragon Ball GT
I'm actually going to kind of disagree with you on this. If they did end up making a redone version of Dragon ball GT, it would probably just be best if Toriyama stayed away from the series for the most part as GT was never really Toriyama's to begin with. Sure he had some input here and there, but it wasn't his, it was a separate entity that existed apart from Toriyama's own world. And even if this Dragon Ball GT Kai were to be something that Toriyama were to be heavily involved in, it would very much limit what he could and could not do because the story and ideas are already there to begin with. Imagine it like this, it's the year 200X and Toriyama is asked to look over this random script for Battle of Gods, however he is only limited to do small things here and there and the story would ultimately still be about the lone evil entity Infector Birus vs Super Saiyan God (3.5) Goku who has a nifty cape, bulging muscles, and bits of fur here and there cause it's a hybrid of Super Saiyan 3 and 4.sintzu wrote:Yes but it can't be from anyone other then Toriyama and only after he's done with his new stories.
Sure you can say that Toriyama could just say, 'screw that' and do things his own way like how the actual Battle of Gods movie turned out, but then it wouldn't really be Dragon Ball GT because he would be changing the very foundations of what made Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball GT to begin with which is the premise and the ideas regarding the arcs.

Sure, I would love to see that, but only if Dragon Ball was a stand still as far as anime/movie/manga goes. The best time of this probably would've been 2010 or 2011, maybe, but that'd be a little early. So, I don't know, maybe after this new phase Dragon Ball movies would be a nice time to see a new GT.

I would love to see a remake, especially if the story was modified to make better use of the supporting characters and the dream match-ups in possible in the Super #17 arc were realized.

Re: Would you like to see a redone version of Dragon Ball GT
As far as the changes I would like to see be made in a new GT, I 'd like to see Pan become one of the stronger characters in the series, maybe not as strong as Gohan but definitely strong than Goten and Trunks given that they like to slack off a lot. Maybe we'd even see a few transformations for her. I also like the idea they had with travelling through the galaxy and finding all sorts of new opponents, but I'd like them all to last for a while each rather than just have a new villain every 3-4 episodes like in the GT we know today. However, I'm not sure why they'd go into space because I don't like the idea of Black Star Dragon Balls. I don't really like how they revisited a bunch of old villains even if it was for a short time, I'd like to see some new, fresh adversaries for the Z-senshi to combat. I don't really like the Shadow Dragons either, but I do think that not being able to use the Dragon Balls anymore would make for a good ending. Not sure how to go about doing that though.
