If there are any UK people here for the love of that is holy DON'T buy the UK DVDs, they are dub only and the dub is awful ( yes it's the Big Green ones that were on Toonami.)
For the record at the moment #1 is my favourite, I haven't seen the latter ones though.

Mike, you didn't mention the best part of Movie 9: Goku teleporting out of heaven to beat up the guy messing with his son.

He was so angry... that he violated the rules of death itself. :O

I'm not quite sure why, but that was an incredibly emotional moment for me in DBZ. It's what makes movie 9 one of my favorites.

Not to mention the interchange between Goku and Kaio afterwards...

Oh, I agree and acknowledge this. The thing is, though... at least with Coola's storyline they *directly* and *appropriately* tie in the storyline they're "ripping off" by integrating it with some really neat retcons and such. There may be similarties, but it's not the EXACT same storyline with a different character; it's an enhancement of a pre-existing storyline.
Ah ok, I see. Yeah, there were so many direct things to copy, one that I've always noticed was the useless kamehameha with Kaio-Ken.

Oh about the Fish Jumping line in the dub...love it.

Piccolo: Is it over?

Vegeta: Not till the fish jumps

*splash*

Vegeta: It's over
Vegito: What do you call a Goku & a Vegeta? Gogeta sounds nice.
Toriyama: *wak*

I love that line as well lol. It's so odd because it doesn't sound like something Vegeta or Piccolo would say

Well, that's why it's only in the FUNi dub, and not the Japanese dub.
