Dude, please... I don't take pleasure in using the level of attitude and tone that you have been showing frequently in your posts and that I've frequently pointing you towards. If you want a flame war, you will have to find someone else. The topic has already been polluted enough with this nonsense and I've already stated my peace in my last post.

If you really want to repeatedly bash this comic every other page and think its the fair treatment for this comic, go right ahead... That will certainly improve the topic. No need for me to point out anything.

You seem to cause you coulda just dropped it after you made your semi-competent case like you've insinuated earlier, yet you stuck around anyways. But sure I'll leave the thread alone so those who enjoy their content can have at it.

Really? I could have dropped it? And you couldn't, right? My posts were always a response to yours, you know? In short, that kind of pointing fingers is also pointless.

Hey I have no qualms going on even if I'm not that fond of doing so. I don't mind dropping things, but don't act like you didn't get some kick out of it. If you didn't like this arguing, you had ample time just ignore a response, or simply make this post sooner after you stated your case as you said. Don't think this is some stupid way of me thinking I won or something like that, cause there really is no winners in this kind of argument. This is subjectivity where it's a matter of opinion. I see bashing which I do as well as others, but I also see ridiculous claims which don't excuse what's been shown for the past several years.

I don't get kicks out of discussions like this. I get kicks out of fruitful discussions about things I enjoy and where people are cordial, to who I can relate to and understand their logic. But I had nothing to do and had already checked the rest of the forum so I spent some time in here commenting on your posts and others. I hoped to offer some perspective on the comments that I considered exaggerated or unfair so that the topic would not dwell too much on bashing but as usual it just makes things worse. Its like people just want a excuse to bash even harder and someone disagreeing with their opinion and their criticism/bashing is perfect for that.

At the end of the day, this comic will continue to be in the future, by far, the most bashed DB fan manga in this forum, with that bashing still dominating most of the topic. I continue to say that that's pretty unfair, but people will do what they want to do, I guess, and there's no point in trying to show perspective or debating it because that just generates extensive discussion and renewed bashing.

If you don't get any kicks, you wouldn't bother for this long. I get kicks out of the sheer stupidity I see in DBM. Like I said before I get entertainment either way from them. I may be negative and bashing, but I ain't like it's totally boring seeing things play out. For every Invinicbroly, Hanassia, Super Cold, dumb Babidi, or any idea of that sort that comes up every so often, I get a laugh. Some people like me like to watch what in our opinion is a train wreck rolling. A train wreck that has a chance to be patched up, but probably not too soon. It's like when a lot of us watch the massively popular Abasalon, which most people I see here laugh at while most comments I see on youtube are positive elsewhere.

Simply put I don't see many people spend their free time from their jobs or school (job in my case) blowing off time this long on a conversation that probably sometime ago was no longer satisfactory. Anyone who goes beyond that mark gets some kick out of this kind of talk.

You're still going and you're showing a smidge of attitude. I'm having fun and looks like you might be too. If you truly want to stop, stop. But nope you seem to be waiting for me to stop for some reason. I'm not gonna so it's up to you friend, or the mods who probably will intervene sooner or later.

Because I have nothing else to do and it keeps me somewhat busy? In short, exactly what I said...? Naaa, it must mean instead that you somehow know me better than me... If you enjoy this type of discussions and trying to get rises out of people, good for you... Personally, I wished I had better things to do.

So then this is either fun, or you're really really really bored. That or you like torturing yourself with something you don't like. I guess you're not looking to stop cause if you want it so bad, you'd do it. I can go on and on. Wanna make more fun of how the current events could totally fly over everyone's heads and mean nothing beyond making the matches more interesting rather than plot? Maybe who knows. :D

@dbzfan7
I don't see a problem with offering constructive criticism from time to time. If some people really feel DBM is only good for the artwork and the story sucks then it's probably time for them to stop reading it. I've already stated what I don't like specifically about AF, EX, and New Age so if I bring them up it's about AF cliches in general which apply to many fan fictions. I'm not going to flood the individual threads of those stories with the same few complaints every new page. My complaints won't change anything and all they would do is annoy the fans who go to that thread to discuss what they like about it.

I mentioned a page back or two I'd be happy to leave so I don't spoil things for people like you who like the fan comic, but then I get called out I'm leaving because
rereboy wrote:Again with the attitude...? :|. You want to stay here only if other people agree with your opinion, is that it? Because nobody insulted you or was rude to you at all. All you got were other opinions with justifications.
So no I'll ride this out now. Plenty of people agree with me while plenty of people like you do not. I'm having fun seeing how far this'll go. I'm bashing a little too much now like I was on another forum so I decided to return their once things in another franchise got better. Decided to do the same with this thread so no one else has to see my complaints whether new, or the repeated stuff. But hey if I'm just doing this cause I want to convert people to my belief, then by all means I'll stick around for stupid talk. I'm tired of talking here, but now this has become fun in a way. I find it so funny that if anything it seems there's a wait for the mods or someone else to stop. Not entirely sure.

No, you got called out because of your attitude (that still hasn't improved much) and on your reasons for leaving which were this:
Guess there's no point in sticking around here. The mere thought of wanting actual story telling is like blasphemous for some reason. Fan service just doesn't work for me like it seems to for a number of others.
You literally accuse people of calling you blasphemous, you consider that your reason for leaving, I call you out on that nonsense because that's simply not true, and now you use that as a pretense to justify why you continue to bash the comic in endless argument... :|. If you want to leave, leave, I never intended to stop you, I just disagreed with your reasons.

Why would we care? Does this make DBM any less shitty?
Let me see, why should we care that we treat things fairly? Well, to be honest, it kind of answers itself: because its fair. You can judge something fairly and still not like it. Being fair doesn't stop you from disliking something, it only stops you from disliking something based on unfair preconceptions.
... What's fair? To not consider DBM shitty even though it is shitty? Am I to judge DBM based on the makers' abilities, meaning that "it's not shitty considering X and Y"?

Well it's still shitty in a grand scheme of things.

I meant common themes among the majority of fan sequels. An evil Saiyan attacking the Earth, random alien attacking out of no where, Gero's computer creating even more androids, villains escaping from hell, Vegeta getting possessed again, etc. I felt these ideas were recycled enough in the manga and anime so I'm not a big fan of fan sequels that use them again. Rather than complain about those individual stories every time a new page is released I choose not to comment. My comments won't change anything and the only achievement would be to annoy everyone who visits that thread to discuss what they like about it.

He meant if it's beyond the author's control to fix then there's no point of in complaining about it every page. You can still call it shitty if you want just understand that those complaints have already been stated a few thousand times so repeating them again won't result in any changes.

Obviously, IMO, the bashing isn't fair. You are free to disagree, but even if you consider the criticism to be well deserved, I don't see how anyone can consider the constant repetition of complains and criticism (aka bashing) to be anything but pointless and, ultimately, bad for the topic.

And, obviously, if you really want to call it shitty, you are free to do so. I just find that most of the justifications people give to justify that opinion are rather simplistic and exaggerated, considering, as you call it, the grand scheme of things and all the other fan works out there. And that's basically the perspective and opinion that I usually state in this topic, that's all.

That's what we call fun XD. You seriously don't want to stop cause you're still going on.. You do get enjoyment after all passing the time with this. It seems more appealing to you then reading, video games, television, or a plethora of other things. Personally I had my Wii U with me at the same time as doing this. :D

People . It's just YOU. Skar is the only good person here who's got somewhat involved in the conversation. He ain't making shitty excuses. He likes the comic for what it is and that's fine. He understands the issues, but unlike you he doesn't give such a dumb production excuse so that it's no big deal to have poor story. STORY is KEY to a good comic. In fact it's THE most important thing that I'd classify it over the artwork. Artwork is important too as appealing pictures draw people in, but DBM has got that down for the most part. You have a point in telling people to stop beating a dead horse repeating the same problem, but it's THE most important problem. Without fixing this all you have is pretty pictures and some fan service. That doesn't make a good comic to me and some other people here.

Exactly why this conversation has been so dumb. I don't care if they have troubles behind the scenes that inhibit them, it's meaningless. So did Sonic Boom apparently from what I hear, so should I consider that piece of shit less shitty because of the trouble that happened and lay offs? No. We rate what we're given just like anything else. Repeated criticisms may not be that helpful, but considering how nothing has really changed, no wonder guys like us keep saying the same thing.

It gives me the same pleasure as a bad game. Some people act like bad games can't be fun when they can be. It's just the fun is for the wrong reasons.
