I was not too crazy about it at first, but it has grown on me. I'm not a big fan of SSjGSSj neither, but I grown used to it by now.

I still can't deal with "Golden Freeza", "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan" I'm now used to it, but also can't swallow it as well, if only that form were ice-blue...

Guys is the Manga of the movie completed? I have found the first 3 chapters but then nothing more.
I don't want to spoil myself all the story before I reade the Manga or I see the Movie.
If there is some place where I can read all the manga, please give me the link

The manga adaptation was only done to promote the film, so it doesn't cover the entire thing. No point in spoiling the entire story in a promotion, right?
It's only three chapters long, and even those omit a great deal of twists that you'll find the final film.

Golden Freeza and SSJGSSJ have really grown on me, too. I was a bit impartial to them at first, but I gotta say, I'm diggin the design of both transformations now.

FUNimation just announced at Anime Central that Revival of 'F' will get a LATE Summer release.
Still nothing concrete, but at least things have been narrowed down a little.

I imagine it'll be around the same time that BoG was released.AjayLikesGaming wrote:FUNimation just announced at Anime Central that Revival of 'F' will get a LATE Summer release.

When did we start seeing an English trailer and those English preview clips that Funi released for BoG?

We got a teaser trailer about 2 months (May 30th) before it released (Aug 5th). I imagine that this movie will be released in August, at the earliest, if we haven't gotten anything yet.RealtreeByGod wrote:When did we start seeing an English trailer and those English preview clips that Funi released for BoG?

I don't mind how SSGSS looks at all. What bugs me about it is the name.

In retrospective, "Super Saiyan God" should have been referred to as just "Saiyan God" in BOG, then in ROF, the new transformation could have been called "Super Saiyan God". That would have been perfect.Polyphase Avatron wrote:I don't mind how SSGSS looks at all. What bugs me about it is the name.

Or at least better than what we got. Oh well, I'm still excited to see the movie, whenever I have the chance.

I don't get why people are hung up on a branding name, of all things.Lord Beerus wrote:In retrospective, "Super Saiyan God" should have been referred to as just "Saiyan God" in BOG, then in ROF, the new transformation could have been called "Super Saiyan God". So... a full month or so after the new series is out and people will have moved on?AjayLikesGaming wrote:FUNimation just announced at Anime Central that Revival of 'F' will get a LATE Summer release.

That'll work out perfectly.

SSJGSS I like from the first time seeing it on those toys, as for Golden Frieza I like the back story it was created from. Frieza made himself a SSJ form to get revenge on the golden ssjs.

I was hoping the US would get the film before Super started its run, but this can still kinda work out. Depending on when exactly the film hits theaters, Super may not be too far into its run. The initial hype of a new series may start to fade after an episode or two if the story doesn't start off in a sprint and we have to deal with the weekly waiting.ShadowWolf87 wrote:So... a full month or so after the new series is out and people will have moved on?

While I do wish the hair was a little more blue and not cyan-ish, I never had a a real problem with SSGSS. Even when the toys leaked, I figured they had darker hair than the real form would. Ultimately I like how it's portrayed by Xenoverse and Toriyama's concept art the most.miguelnuva1 wrote:SSJGSS I like from the first time seeing it on those toys, as for Golden Freeza I like the back story it was created from. Golden Freeza I never had much of a problem with either. The design itself is decent, but the thing that always bugged me wasn't even the color scheme, but the color placement. The yellow is a bit odd, but not terrible (though I don't like when it's shiny gold on the toys at all). Ultimately, it's the arms that bug me the most. Having them be dark yellow just seems off to me. I would prefer if they were lighter yellow, or if the darker shade was used on the neck as well to connect the arms in stead of just feeling like a weird action figure joint.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection '
I wasn't that fond of Golden Frieza at first but seeing it on the big screen changed my mind, I kinda like it now actually and when he transforms back from Gold to White it makes him look really plain.
The Blue SSJ God on the other hand...I don't dislike it but it definitely doesn't look as good as the ordinary Super Saiyan or the Red haired SSJ God.
I'd have preferred it stay red but the colour combination with Frieza might have looked off.

Likewise here, I liked the new infused form, the aura really got me (it was awesome) especially in combat
