Does anyone else's email from Amazon include the following:

Hello from Amazon.com. We're writing about the order you placed on August 08 2009 (Order# 102-6761242-3357046). Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below has changed, and we need to provide you with a new delivery estimate based on the new release date: Artist Not Provided "Dragon Ball Z Season 1: Dbox"Estimated arrival date: November 19 2009 - December 15 2009 If you still want us to ship the delayed items when they do become available (though they may arrive later than expected) please visit this address to approve the delay:

This is what mine says, and yet noone seems to have mentioned anything about a change to the release date so far.

Maybe FUNi listened to our emails after all, and are cranking up the disk count from 6 to 7? Who knows...

Probably not. Even if the title changes, the item number itself is still the same and that's what really counts.

Hopefully this means that they're including the US broadcast music track. *crosses fingers* I'd hate to have TWO DVD sets. I'm not getting rid of my Orange Bricks until I'm sure the Dragon Boxes have everything they had and more.

I actually hadn't gotten around to putting in my pre-order on Amazon, yet. I just did so, and it listed the November 10th release date the whole way through. Definitely interested to see if/when I receive any possible notification of a delay...

Look at the price, too. Though this could be a mistake, maybe they just forgot to put a "Z" on the end of Dragon Ball?

You know Inny (I can call you Inny, right?) I hope so too.
I've been thinking, and It'd be great if everybody could get exactly what they wanted with this release. I'd love to see the disc count cranked to seven, and the Faulconer dub thrown in there.
Then everybody could get everything they wanted in one product.
Fingers crossed for you guys, seriously.

Don't get too excited, this is almost certainly a small error on their part because everything else in this listing, including the date (or as is now the case, one of the dates) and RRP for Dragonball Z Dragonbox volume 1 are exactly the same. The fact that there's no other "Z" box listing alongside this "Dragonball Dragonbox" listing too suggests to me at least that it's because they're one and the same.

Hey guys,

Quick question about Amazon orders as the last DVD I bought from them was probably a Yu Yu Hakusho single back in 2004. Is the $55 price temporary or will it remain that low until release time? If it's bound to increase, I'll go ahead and put in a preorder now but if it'll stay low for a while I'll wait.

I won't have the money to place any kind of pre-order in until next month, but now I'm glad that I have to wait. All of this is too confusing right now, and I'd rather have more information from FUNimation and correct listings before I even think about placing a pre-order.

I'd pre-order it now, just in case. That way if the price does go up, you won't have to pay any extra.

Y'know, a simultaneous release of both the Season Set AND the DragonBox versions of a series wouldn't be too bad.

Think about it. Two separate versions, both with their own advantages and disadvantages, depending on who you ask. Unlike what happened with Z, you wouldn't only find out about one after you'd already bought most or all of the other. You'd have a choice right from the beginning.
