btw thought of something...If Hit has been contracted to kill Goku for the next arc, the upcoming episode may very well be the reason behind it.

I'd definitely like some foreshadowing to what Hit's doing to address his absence, it would be a nice bit of foreshadowing.

What?? The manga cut the entire first fight with black. i never said they cut things from the outline. My point is the anime has a lot more time to add non essential parts to the plot. They can choose how they want to use it.

Given we don't have the outline, we can't say for certain Black going back in time was in the outline, so Toyotaro could just be following the outline, that might not have had Goku Black coming back and thus he didn't cut anything.

That so many people are dissecting a tossaway line in a fluff promotional interview for a specific episode is a bit disconcerting. This is, unfortunately, the monster we've created and need to take responsibility for: it's like we're providing too much information, and by extension, people blow every little thing out of proportion. I try not to editorialize in my news and content postings (that's what the podcast is for), and I would hope/expect the Kanzenshuu readership is a little more savvy than the Average Joe.

In this case, there were other events already taking discussions in that direction (like the episode where Goten appeared and interacted with other characters with no lines at all). That statement just throws more fuel into the fire, it wouldn't be getting attention like this if it were a completely isolated incident.

I think it is a good thing as we get no slow nonsense and it probably means the episode is going to be a bit crazy.

I'd take 10 slice of life or comedy-centric episodes before the next big arc. Especially if they focus on the human characters like Krillin, Gohan's family life, Yamcha, etc.

I'm not a huge fan of one-off slice of life episodes. However, if we had a cohesive slice of life arc then I'd be open to the idea. Might be fun.

Would love to see an arc where Krillin is in pursuit of a criminal, an arc on Gohan's scholarly life, and an arc on Yamcha's baseball career.
