Sorta-kinda being worked on as we go. Just a text file, right now.
Adamant wrote:*Kanji symbol on characters' clothes guide
I supposed that could be done. Just a matter of looking for screen caps and translating and stuff. Psaros kinda did that a while back, and I'd hate to look like stealing.
Adamant wrote:*Video game guide (maybe)
I'd love to do one, someday...

Perhaps the name origin stuff might be better off going in the character profiles?

I second the kanji on character's clothing guide. I still don't know what it says on Yamcha's desert bandit outfit.

Watch it be "Yamcha's desert bandit outfit".

This is just second hand information (I think I read it on Planet Namek long time ago), but the symbol on Yamucha's original outfit is a very old kanji meaning "music", or something along those lines. And yes, I know that makes absolutely no sense.

I think you probably read that on the original DBZU.

I remember that Chris didn't know what it meant. I was hoping that Super Julian Mega-brain might know.

If not other anime DVDs, how about a section with brief reviews of other anime? Ones you hate, ones you like... OR, maybe just what you think of the Shonen Jump mangas other then DBZ (Sandland, Naruto, One Piece, Shaman King, Hikaru no Go, Yuyu Hakusho, Yugioh), the reasoning I have is that most DBZ fans are probably reading SJ anyway. Give your opinions on the others! And, hey, if you are feeling generous, or bored, or both, also give a short opinion on the no SH included SJ GNs! (You know what I mean. Ruroni Kenshin, The Prince of Tennis, Bleach, Ultimate Muscle, Knights of the Zodiac...)

Maybe just star ratings on any of the above titles in this post? I really wanna know what you and Julian think of them. Hell, maybe you could just mail me if you don't wanna do it on the site. (Side note: I love Bleach so far).

Are you going to be doing a general "clothing guide" for each character profile, showing all the different outfits they regularly wore? You could stick the translations in there. It would still be in a relevent place, and it would be different from what DBZU did.

I forgot that Gohan turns up for the final few episodes of GT wearing the traditional orange gi with some sort of kanji on it. Anyone have any idea what it says?

I believe Gohns new kanji translates to Please Kill Me, atleast that's what it should say.

I don't remember exactly because I haven't seen it in awhile, but I think the kanji on Gohan's gi in GT was the "han" from Gohan. I guess he just felt the need to write his name on his clothes like his father before him so he wouldn't forget who he was :P "I look almost exactly like Goten, but my hair is slightly different AND I have my name on my clothes! Keep it straight!"

It makes you wonder when he got them made. He was either bored during the 10 years of non-fighting between Buu and GT and decided to modify the red outfit Kibito made for him, or he decided that he simply HAD to have a nice new costume to fight Super Evil Dragon Dude.

Alright, I'm pretty sure you've said you didn't want to do this, but putting up the offical PL's from the Daizenshuu would be a good thing. That way I could point idiots that put stuff like this:
Some stupid PL list wrote:Frieza (form 1)- 550,000
Frieza (form 2)- 700,000
Frieza (form 3)- 870,000
Frieza (form 4)- 1,200,000
Robot Frieza - 2,500,000
Piccolo - 400,000
Piccolo without weighted clothing: 440,000
Piccolo after Nail merge: 800,000
Piccolo without weighted clothing: 880,000
on their site to the right powers. Maybe enlighten a few idiots along the way. :?

Plot-hole Guide should be a separate section and deal not only with plot-holes made because of Toei fillers, but also the purely manga ones as well (unless you already intend it this way, if so - my bad)

And I'd like to see a Video Game Guide, not a listing-and-reviews one like in most sites (well, not only, at least) - it could be sort of an appendix for Characters Guide - dealing with the different ways game producers delt with warriors' attacks and fighting style, how they and their techniques evolved, what new attacks were added, pre-battle/post-battle quotes, that sort of thing...
It's party time, Ginyu style!

I would like to see Pink Hat Guy (voiced in the dub by Jon Allen) added to the Characters guide.
