They are all anime-only stuff. And like the movies, GT is also labeled as a side-story.

Really not a fan of the black on blue. He needs lighter, more varied colors.

Hmm...shouldn't Trunks' fur be...purple or something? Or at least a different shade of red? That's my only issue with this design really, the fur looks too much like Goku's shade of SS4 fur.

Why do people think that SS4 hair color is based off of a Saiyan's base hair color? SS1-3 isn't, SS4 fur isn't, why hair? I think it's supposed to be just black.

I kinda get the red fur tone because well, Vegeta has it. Trunks is Vegeta's son afterall so having the same fur color doesent seem like too much of a stretch to me personally. But, if its black fur you want, I present Emperor Dajjal in my version of SSJ5. Drawn by EMPEROR DAJJAL on deviantart.

Maybe because Goku's hair is black, and Vegeta's is brown (they are portrayed brown in base some times in the anime, aren't they?). Gogeta seems to have switched colors with fur & hair.

Well with SSJG around, maybe you could say the red fur is because of that?

Filler is defined as everything not in the manga. The Z movies are not the manga and they weren't made by Akira Toriyama. They are just like DBGT.

Nobody. I always thought the definition for filler was pretty self-explanatory. It's just material that's used to "fill" time. Most of the filler in the TV series is material not found in the original comic. And while the movies and side stories may have some padding, they aren't in and of themselves filler.

What I'm wondering is why filler even came into discussion. As if fan creations gave validity to any additional material to the series. People just like cool designs.

fill·er 1 (flr)
n.
One that fills, as:
a. Something added to augment weight or size or fill space.

The Dragon Ball anime is merely an adaption of the manga. Everything in the anime that goes beyond the manga, whether its extended scenes, stand alone movies or an entire new anime after the last events of the manga, is there to increase its size and make it longer. Hence why its called filler.

Because hleV dismissed the need or validity of DBGT villains into the design of the ultimate vilain, even though he has no problem with Janemba being there.

The movies and spin off argument would work if they were filling time for new "valid" material from Toriayama but they weren't. They were done to expand the franchise and make more opportunities for profit. Anything not in the comic doesn't work as a definition for filler because it doesn't even agree with the definition you provided.

I have to wonder how you feel about things like the Bardock special which filled in for a one episode's worth of content for DBZ's original run. But then was later acknowledged by Toriyama in the original comic.

Have any of you ever wondered what it would look like if Goku, Death the Kid, Naruto Uzumaki, Natsu Dragneel, Yugi Moto, Edward Elric, Light Yagami, Ichigo Kurosaki, and Monkey D. Luffy fused into one super-being, and went on an adventure with Pikachu and Totoro?

...Yeah, me neither. Gotta admit, it's pretty cool lookin' though.

I'm not sure what the alternate look for Pikachu is referencing though, or the weird floating panel things on this guy's left shoulder is.

Weird, it's showing for me. Anyway, swapped it out for a different link of the same pic. Does it show up now?

That "Pikachu" is just a traced Sadaharu from Gintama.
