I think this is a good saga and everything but this episode did again make me think this saga happened too soon.

This newest episode showed characters we're familiar with from Universe 6, there was Gowasu from Universe 10 that we know, Universe 9 characters we know from the Zen Exhibition and Universe 11 characters we've been introduced too and who will obviously play a big part.

But we know nothing about the characters from Universe 2, 3 or 4.

I think with something like this the more familiar you were with the characters the better it would have been. They should have had 2 or 3 more sagas before having this Tournament of Power and they could have introduced more of these characters who would be competing.

Bit of wasted potential really.

The more familiar we get with every other character, the worse it would feel when they get erased..
Hell I am already feeling bad for gowasu and the wolf pack

I hope a scenario where all the universes that lose in the Tournament Of Power get unified into one giant shared universe happens. That would a be great way of retaining the new characters and also significantly expanding the current main universe (Universe 7). It kills two birds with one stone.

It also helps getting their mortal levels higher, but the question arises who will stay the gods of the new universe

This is what I was saying and what I actually hope will happen, imagine an universe with all those awesome new entries, they could appear in future arcs and movies too, I'm excited thinking about that!
Spending so much efforts and time creating new characters, only to see them disappear after the tournament, is a terrible waste

Between female Super Saiyans, Fat teletubbies, an eggman looking poser, a bunch of gym dudes dancing while sipping their protein shakes, and a trio of wolf brothers, I don't mind these new characters. The writers are giving us a lot of world building, and that will only make the tournament that much more satisfying when it finally arrives.

This arc started on Feb 5, and now we are closing in on June. We've all waited so long for this damn tournament.

All I can say is, it better deliver, or the arc is a miserable failure no matter how good the episodes prior to the tournmanet are.
