It's weird that that chibi Jiren figure is smaller than the Goku one, the opening has Jiren taller than Goku.

I dont really see any shots in the opening I can 100% conclude hes taller. Ill have to watch it after work. Youre probably right I've just never noticed.

My theory is that when Frieza lost to Goku in the ROF Arc, he went back to hell, but MUCH stronger than he was before, so he was strong enough to break out of his cocoon and wreck havoc in hell, rule and dominate all the souls who were also condemned to earth's hell, making him lord of earth's underworld.

I think that would be awesome.

It would erase the stench Movie 8 did to Vegeta, and also it would mean Vegeta will defeat Brianne.

Freeza turning into a Z fighter after this tournament wouldn't surprise me as crazy as that sounds. He won't be the first enemy of Goku turned into ally, although nobody went as far as Freeza did in terms of despicable crimes.

A lot of people are against it happening, but I would love if it did. I can never get enough of the heel turn trope in DB.

You seem to have a pretty big list of things that would make you quit Super. A lot of straws.

Fanfiction is when something so bad or unrealistic happens in canon. Super has aspects of that (female Saiyans, a Broly-type character, Freeza's constant returns), but there has to be a place where you draw the line.

Freeza becoming a "good guy" like Vegeta would be such a god awful disgrace and slap in the face to the entire Dragonball franchise, ruin Freeza's character, make all the heroes look like idiots, and destroy any integrity this show has left. But I don't think that will happen so it doesn't matter.

My guess is Freeza will turn out to be the main villain after or during the tournament.
