You may wanna take that up with Kai1984, as its his work and not mine.

Those concepts are just so unoriginal. It's just the typical fanart we've had one million times before. Android #X, new Freeza Clan guy with hardcore design, new Saiyan OC who beats the Freeza Clan guy, ugh. It's nothing new.

And Android #66 being made from old villain parts is just lazy and nonsensical.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

#66 is such a random number. I mean... why 66, specifically? The Androids we got in the series ended at #20... where's #21 (or #22, if you count Cell as #21 rather than something completely separate from the regular "Android/Jinzoningen" lineup) through #65?

(Now, a super-Android from somewhere way off in the future, made up of the best parts of 40-some failed projects before him? That might actually work... especially considering that somebody as strong as #16 was considered a "failure" just because of his mindset being different than what Dr. Gero wanted. It'd basically be an all-Androids version of what Cell was, but the movies and GT did plenty of "like previous villain, but..." characters already, so something like that isn't completely unrealistic as a possibility for a fan-made villain.)

It's probably 66 because it's an evil-sounding number without being too obvious.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

As much as I hate Broly and the thought of him going SSJ3 and above, I cant deny this is pretty well drawn, and I really like the black fur.

Hmm, I must say a pure black SSJ4 looks pretty cool.

As I've said before, I think SSJ4 can be shades of red, black, or brown.

I have a example I did for one of my DBSW characters, Arevir. His creator likes what we call the "Mufasa" color scheme. Its just a simple job in paint using a lineart by Keikuro but here. The first would be his SSJ4 colors and the one on the end would be his SSJ5 colors.

I think the main issue with most AF fan art is that most of them are not very original. While most of them look great or really awful, they are just the same thing we seen before. With DBNA, at least SSj5 is something different looking.

Pretty much. All the SSJ5 designs I have seen apart from Malik's and my own are the standard white/grey hair and fur we see in Toyble and Young Jijii's AF doujin.

Aside from me and Malik, another unique SSJ5 design I have seen belongs to Nassif9000 who does a lot of Budokai 3 mods.
Then theres this version, though I dont personally care for it.
Thats another reason I ditched using main characters from DBZ and such in my own series because other fan series do it to death and personally, I dont think id be able to capture their personalities the way Toriyama did. So, I turned it into OC Central.
