Can someone with the Japanese Dragon Box or DBox singles post screencaps to see how this version stacks up?

And can we also get some caps from the American DBox that aren't high motion scenes?

Damn, I sound like a greedy whore...

I am not sure if this was asked of before, but is there any audio on the main menu, and if so, what is it?

EDIT: No Jon Jon, I never found it funny either.

No. They really need to get off that 90's/2005 joke. It's already been mentioned ages ago back on same single-digit page.

Funny, I was gonna mention this last night when I first popped in the disc... but I was enjoying the third disc already at that point, and was lazy.

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"

DBZfan29 wrote:(Forgive me if I don't have them in the correct order, a little lazy to check Kanzentai at the moment!) .. and our box has:

- All Play
- Episode Selection
- Setup

They must've only had room for three options, and I think set-up is a bit important for those of you who bought the set for the dub. Then again, like the marathon feature, you can do this manually, also.
Unless FUNimation did something different with the discs than they have in the past, the "All Play" is rather redundant as on every FUNimation DVD I have, even if you choose a single episode, it won't take you back to the episode menu once the episode ends but straight into the next episode.

They could have removed that and replaced it with Story/Marathon.

If it's shipping (from more than one retailer at that), it stands to reason that stores have it. It's just a matter of whether they'll abide by the street date.

Another annoyance I've found--

If you want to skip past the episode recaps, be prepared to fast forward. Using chapter skip during the OP brings you to the episode recap. Using chapter skip during the recap brings you to the eye catcher, and not the beginning of the actual episode.

I can already tell this is going to be a huge annoyance for me later on during the episodes that really drag along-- I'll never want to see those recaps.

I don't consider this too much of a big deal. This is like this on my Sailor Moon DVDs as well..

From what I'm seeing so far, this is going to be very much worth the wait, and I'm quite glad because of it.

Though, no action figure or bonus gifts (as of now), saddens me a little.

Didn't somebody say before the episodes were broken up into OP, recap, part A, part B, ED, and preview? If so, they must've been wrong if you are having this problem. I personally like to skip through the opening and ending, but keep the recap so the last episode always stays fresh in my mind. I guess I'll be watching the entire episode now to see the credits, too!
