Some Dragonball Fan art of mine.

Piccolo san daisuki!!!!!

I did this a year ago but I am very new here so I wanted to contribute something to the forum! Hope some of you like it. Done with watercolor and ink.
My dbz art never gets any feedback on DA but I wanted to share with some fellow dbz fans.

he's a beast.
as a huge piccolo fan and fan of the subbed version, I loathe the scene in the dub where he arrives on Namek, but its so ridiculous..you can only laugh at it, somehow It sorta inspired the setting I used in this picture.

This looks amazing! Love the angles on Pic's face - makes him seem more lifelike. Do you do other art?

I'll definitely post more of it here. Thanks a lot. Dbz was what got me into drawing people in the first place, I used to only draw animals and stuff, so lately i've been doing more fan art of it in my own style. I see a decent amount of tenshinhan fans here I definitely will post my tenshinhan painting up later.

it's baata or burter whatever spelling you like most. He's slippery and fast like butter, but only in the sparking games, I love using him in those he's one of my favs along with arale and ssj2 gohan.

Image

My favorite member of the ginyu's!

Image

freeza! Sorta my take on him, collecting planets and selling them like they are toys almost.

Image

okay I do like DB more then Fist of the North star (hokuto no ken) but I kinda think kenshiro might be able to take on goku if he had his guard down. But I don't want anyone to argue that unless you are familiar with both, just a fun crossover pic.

Image

ho I had some fun with this one, tenshinhan likes big booties and he cannot lie, I want there to be more love for this coupling, cause I think how barely hinted at it is, it might be my favorite next to kuririn and 18.

here's something a lot older from me, but I still love it.

Image

it's the man of fire himself. he's my second favorite character so this is one of the earliest db fan arts i'd be willing to share (...this is all after my old ugly highschool sketchy crap back when it was on toonami in 2001)

I took the za za sound effects from book 15 of the dbz manga. Okay that was a lot, but what do you guys think I just wanted to share my dbz fan art with the fans here. If I do anything else I'll post it here.

These are truly amazing. The shades, the colors, the forms.

I can honestly say this is easily some of the best fanart I've ever seen of anything, EVER.

I I could watercolor(or color, period) like that, I would do everything in my power to flaunt it and make a living out of it. :D

Heh

I am an illustrator/comic artist though haven't really made that much of a name for myself outside of like the internet, but I do pretty well with it.

You flatter though! but dragonball needs more awesome fan art I think. Maybe not its old, but I can't stop wanting to draw some of my favorite characters!! Dragonball was what got me interested in drawing people, so maybe that's one reason I been drawing it a lot lately, most of these are newish 07-09

but yea thanx for all the comments!

I have to say, I saw badonk and was like "bardock??" then I was like..wait oh they're talking about the booty shoot pic! haha that really is sad that Ba-has an O- ends with a K must be bardock! I was like "I didn't draw bardock in here"..but now I want to, he's so manly. So you comment may have just birthed something new in the works!

Have you ever thought of going pro? I'm a writer (primarily movies), but I've written up many comic scripts, trying to make a name for myself that way. Unfortunately, unless you have an artist attached, writers might as well direct their query letters directly at the recycle bin and cut out the middleman. I'd love to collaborate.

I'd be willing to discuss something like that. http://burningheartcomic.com is a webcomic I am a part of, so I am very familiar with comics and all that. I am not much on writing its a lot of work, but I love comics so it's an interesting proposition. I can do a variety of styles though I stick to something pretty similar to what you see here, So yea, that sounds cool. I'll list my Aim and email in my profile, PM me more about it or I'm me I'd like to hear more.

I've always felt fan art should strive to be kinda different, provide something new to the story, or be unique to the artist otherwise there isn't as much of a point in doing it for me.
