The most epic song from Dragon Ball (in your opinion)
I'm sure this has been posted on this message board before, but which song from Dragon Ball do you think is the most epic?
I'll have to go with Hikari no Tabi. I get chills almost every time I listen to that song.

The one from Songs of a High Spirited Saga? I've listened to that one once or twice. Nice rendition of the song. The Time Traveller wrote:Shiyonasan, you might be interested in the '96 version of Hikari no Tabi, it's pretty nice...
The male singer in that version reminds me of Vic Mignogna when he sings.

In terms of dramatically epic, the theme to Piccolo's death is pretty damn epic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s87FB0lsDMA#t=3m29s (the vocal version is even better). I've written quite a few in-depth posts about this sole piece of music. It's mah favorite.
Aitsu was Song Goku by the man, Hironobu Kageyama, is also extremely epic. I guess Cha-La Head-Cha-La is too, if only for what it is.

Definitely "Unmei no Hi ~Tamashii vs Tamashii~". It gives me chills every time I hear it, especially in the context it's used in the show. Kageyama really belts it out.

The victim of violent head trauma as an infant [...] he's a simple bumpkin with a fair share of brain damage who's natural talents to work out what's wrong compensate for his broad lack of common sense. But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

Totally agreed. Other songs would be higher on my overall "favorites" list, but because of its use and placement, nothing beats Unmei no Hi when it comes to "epic."penguintruth wrote:Definitely "Unmei no Hi ~Tamashii vs Tamashii~". The SSJ3 Power-Up, and the Dragon theme. The latter was always used for the perfect situations.

Unmei no Hi Tamashii vs Tamashii- always brings epic moments bubbling to the surface of my mind.
Solid State Scouter also moves me in an epic way, although perhaps a bit more "bouncy" epic if there is one because of the Electronic beat.
Kimi ga Hero Is well, about being a hero?
Um...and for good measure, Aitsu wa Son Goku. Because Goku is obviously epic.
(I can't choose just one, there are so many good image songs in my mind! )
