Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
in my opinion, the old "ssj = x50" thing does'nt work anymore. it never did, really.
toriyama himself stated that he felt like ssj was more a x10 instead of a x50 while writing the story, plus, for scaling reasons, i think that in buu saga the better multiplier for ssj is x4.
let's explain :
in bu saga we have kiris, the new power measure. we know that yakon is 800, Goku in his base is weaker than him but not by a lot, since he can react to his attack , didge and hit him. furthermore, we know that ssj Goku was 3'000 kiris strong, so 3'000/4 = 750, a power perfect for base Goku : weaker than yakon , but not by much
dabra is stated to go past 4'000 kiris, and hes strong like cell (super perfect obv) in goku's opinion, that saw him only fight suppressed against ssj2 gohan. the legend of maga says that shin = ssjfp cell games Goku in power, then pocus is comparable to ssjfp cell games gohan, since he's stronger than shin . explaining by numbers :
shin = ssjfp Goku = 20 pocus >=ssjfp gohan > shin = ssjfp Goku = 24, or else 500 kiris
vegeta oneshotted pocus with no effort, so vegeta = 31,25 , or else 625 kiris . Goku is said from vegeta himself to be stronger that hisslef, same difference as ever. then i interprete this as
" buu saga Goku : buu saga vegeta = Goku (vs freezer) : pre Death on namecc vegeta"
puttting between them a x1,2 difference, making Goku = 37,5
we said Goku = 750 kiris, so 1 kiro = 0,05. yakon = 40 in my scale then.
dabra was more than 4'000 kiris, lets make him 4'440 kiri,so dabra = 222 in my scale, while ssj Goku = 3'000 kiris = 150
ssj2 Goku = 6'000 kiri >ssj2 teen gohan = 4'800 kiri > dabra = 4'440 kiri >super perfect cell = 4'400 kiri>>ssj buu saga Goku = 3'000 kiri >suppressed dabra = 2'220 kiri > ssj2 buu saga gohan = 2'000 kiri>>perfect cell (rage) = 1'080 kiri > perfect cell = 900 kiri > yakon = 800 kiri >base Goku = 750 kiri >base vegeta = 625 kiri >pocus = ssjfp cell games gohan = 480 kiri >shin = ssjfp cell games Goku = 400 kiri
in super it is different : in base i Always use x4 for ssj, but re introdicing the grades like in cell saga, creating these 2 "ways" , let's say :
ssj (standard) = x4 , ssj g2 = x4,8 , ssj2 (standard) = x8 , ssj g3 = x20
xplaining the x20 multiplier for grad 3, the legend of manga says that g3's strenght = x10 g2 strenght, but, since this form dos'nt multiply all the stats (physical strenght, resistance and speed) by the same amount, i do like this :
ssj g2 ---------> ssj g3
phy = 1,6 ----> phy = 16
res = 1,6 ----> res = 3,2
spd = 1,6 ----> spd = 0,8 (we know that, speed wisw, g3 is much slower than even the standard ssj)
_____________________
tot = 4,8 ----> tot = 20
then, there is thw ssjfp line, only for u7 saiyans . ssjfp is stronger than g3 as a multiplier, as said by vegeta in the cell games
ssj(fp) = x30 , ssj2(fp) = x60 , ssj3(fp) = x240
any tought on my way of powerscale, my fellows?

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
Going by hypothetical multipliers and transformations, would be a Super Saiyan 7 strong enough as SSJB + KKx20?
Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
...I can't tell if this is a serious question. What do you mean by "Super Saiyan 7"? Just any fan-made "SS7" transformation in existence? There's no way to scale something like that, because one guy's "SS7" could have a multiplier a million times larger than another guy's "SS7", so it'd come down to whatever fanfic you'd prefer to use.Noah wrote:Going by hypothetical multipliers and transformations, would be a Super Saiyan 7 strong enough as SSJB + KKx20?

Yes it is... If I remember correctly the scale is somewhat like this:Alruneia wrote:...I can't tell if this is a serious question. What do you mean by "Super Saiyan 7"? SSJ = 50x, SSJ2 = 100x, SSJ3 = 400x and SSJ4 = 1000x? Going by that scale, how strong would be a SSJ7 considering some people believes that SSJ God is around 6000x?
Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
Wasn't it stated in some guidebook that SS4 is just Golden Great Ape in a more manageable form (which would make it x500 or so)? In any case, my point was that SS4 doesn't really scale cleanly with the other SS forms as it's achieved through different means (the whole Great Ape thing) than them, and forms above SS4 could easily also require other different means (and particularly means that vary from writer to writer), making it difficult to properly scale them with "lower" forms. (SSG also doesn't really scale cleanly.) "SS5" is usually a direct power-up from SS4 without much trickery, in my experience, which should be fine for scaling, but there's not much of a "consensus" beyond that form, so there's really no way to give a good answer.Noah wrote:Yes it is... But... I guess I can try, using the scale you provided. I'm just gonna extend the pattern I'm seeing.
SS1 = Base x50
SS2 = SS1 x2
SS3 = SS2 x4
SS4 = SS3 x2.5
SS5 = SS4 x5
SS6 = SS5 x3
SS7 = SS6 x6
Multiply it all together, and you get SS7 = Base x90000. In this scenario, I'd say Blue Kaioken x20 wins, though perhaps it'd be somewhat close.

That's complete bullshit, via scaling ssj4 just can't be x1'000.
It's more like (following the x50 line for ssj)
50-->100-->400-->40'000(ssj4 in gt ,following the ssj = x50 thing)-->600'000(ufpssj4)-->1'200'000(ssj5 jijii)
Following that, ssj5 (ufpssj4 x2) continues to follow the line, so ssj6 = x2'400'000 and ssj7 = x9'600'000 imo
And no, it even isn't enough to compete with ritual Ssj god's multiplier
Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
Just an insight on ssj4's multiplier :
In gt perfect files, we are told that baby vegeta's forms works in that way :
Base baby Vegeta = ssj , super baby = ss2 , super baby 2 = ssj3
Then, oozaru is the usual x10
In all of this, baby then takes a total x80 multiplier between his base baby Vegeta and his oozaru state.
Goku was wounded and on par with oozaru baby as ssj4, or even a little weaker as reported in gtpf. Then, goku gets healed and stomps him. Making a little scaling :
Goku = 1 , ssj3 = 400 , ssj3(drained) = 320
Baby Vegeta = 400, super baby = 800 , super baby 2 = 3'200 , oozaru baby = 32'000
Wounded goku = 0,75 , oozaru ssj3 goku = 3'000, ssj4 wounded goku = 30'000
Then goku gets healed, so 30'000/0,75= 40'000
Goku = 1 , ssj4 goku = 40'000
40/32 = 5/4 = 1,25 , healed ssj4 foku stomps oozaru baby
I hope I was clear on that, thanks for the attention.
PS : ssj in gt is x2 , so ssj4 Is x1'600

You really need to make that better.gt's scaling is hard to make, and no one can get it right the first time. That requests a lot of study and objectivity, not anyone has that things.
Your scaling errors starts to be notable in buu saga, and grows exponentially in super and moreover in gt

Maybe you guys should try being more cordial with each other? I don't see how it is reasonable to carry on a conversation in which it opens with one person calling one person's "work" terrible and offers help in a very condescending way and then the other just kind of insults the quality of the other's posts.supersaiyangodgogeta wrote:Nah, I'm good. Obviously, telling him that his work isn't good will sound a bit like an asshole, but I tried even to correct my message to sound like that the less possible.

In situations like this, saying "I disagree with these numbers" instead of "All of this is terrible" would probably have been more appropriate. Heck, simply not using adjectives like "idiotic" would go a long way to make you not sound "a bit like an asshole" (your words, not mine).p-hyvo wrote:I know, Kyabe I'm a bit hard and I can seem a bit of an asshole, but really I don't know how to let him know that fact differently.

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
I honestly think that 120'000'000 is his pl as wounded by the genkidama. full power should be more, considering that he tanks with one hand a x20 kamehameha from goku, and that alone would have a pl of 73'200'000 (60'000'000 x1,22 , kamehameha's multiplier).BlazeDVH wrote:Is Freeza's power level above 120 MIllions? Considering this, healthy freezer should be between 80'500'000 and 91'500'000 at 50%, making his full power between 161'000'000 and 183'000'000.
Is the genkidama that winds him, making him 60'000'000 at 50%, with a injury power down between x1,34 and x1,525
To do that, in my opinion genkidama should have been between 101'000'000 and 123'000'000 in power.
I hope you liked my explaination

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
There's plenty I disagree with on his list, but aside from the El Manga Legendario 10x boost for Grade 3 and the bizarrely huge jump from Super Boo to Ultimate Gohan, there's nothing glaringly egregious, at least up to the end of Z. Given what a clusterfuck of a show it is, I couldn't give less of a shit about anyone's power levels for GT (unless they're anything like Kaboom's GT Powar Levuls). And my feelings about anyone's Super power levels are similarly apathetic.p-hyvo wrote:I appreciate the advice, but if that numbers are terrible I can't say anything else, or I don't give an accurate opinion.

Regardless of our opinions of his list, we'd do well to remember that aside from the small handful of guidebook numbers and multipliers, everything is subjective. All of this is guess work, and regardless of how out-there somebody's numbers get, unless if they actively go against facts established in the manga, anime, databooks, or interviews, they're no more or less accurate than our own. And even then, many people can have very good reasons to ignore some of the tidbits originating from secondary sources (such as a certain Spanish guidebook). And even if you think someone's numbers are total garbage, your criticism will be more likely to be accepted (A) you're cordial about it, and (B) if you're specific. Saying "your numbers are terrible" is not only rude, but it's completely unhelpful. Asking something specific like "why is there such a huge power gap between Super Boo and Gohan?" will at least make it more likely that I'll get a meaningful response.
Personally, my primary criticism to supersaiyangoddogeta would be that his power level list would be much more fun and interesting to read if he included a sentence or two to explain why he listed someone has high or low as he did. For example:
Freeza Arc
100% Power Freeza: 120
Super Saiyan Son Goku: 150
(Official numbers.)
Trunks Arc
Mecha Freeza: 150
King Cold: 100
(Freeza thinks he can handle Super Saiyan Goku by himself now, so he's probably at least as strong as he was on Namek. Cold is supposed to be weaker than his kid, but strong enough be worthwhile backup against a Super Saiyan.)
Super Saiyan Trunks: 200
Super Saiyan Son Goku: 180
(Trunks is strong enough to eighty-six Freeza and Cold like it's nothing, and Goku was strong enough to impress him. Personally, I think Trunks was the stronger of the two, if only to justify how he's not completely outclassed by Goku and Vegeta three years later, but honestly their numbers are interchangeable.)
Final word of advice: I'd tone down the "ruthless honesty" if I were you, lest you attract the attention of the moderators.

But supersaiyangogeta's power level aren't willingly bad and clunky, they just are for reasons I just told upwards.it seems like he doesn't even saw gt before doing that list, and it is against the anime itself and the official gt guides too in some extent. That's why I offered him my help, I want him to get better.
Regarding "ssj grade 3 is a x10" I don't think it is to take literally, it is not "if grade 2 is 60 , grade 3 is 600" IMO.
the fighters have 3 statistics as explained by goku for the kaioken against Vegeta : physical strength, resistance and speed .and that 3 together are enough to multiply the power level completely.
As we know, grade 3 doesn't multiply all the stats for the same amount, it downgrades speed in exchange of a devastating physical strength.Thats why I think that x10 isn't to take literally.
Now I'll explain my point :
Let's assume ssj grade 2 = x60
60/3=20 , so
Ssj g2
Phy=20
Res=20
Spd =20
Grade 3 has x10 the strength, intended as physical strength, so
Ssj g3
Phy=200
Result=40 (it is fine to multiply it, all this bulk surely makes his resistance rose too)
Spd =10 (as we know, g3 is a lot slower)
Total multiplier = x250
What do you think about this, boy? I'm curious about your thoughts
