Quick question: Is Ginyu-Goku a separate character, or a "transformation"?
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

I think it's a transformation, which probably means that finaly Ginyu will get a REAL Ultimate Attack!
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

It seems they really messed up with Freeza's english voice in this game(this also happens to some of the other characters right?).
Take this example
As you can hear that's Linda Young, but then at 12:34 it's clearly back to Chris Ayres. Unfortunately that doesn't last long and Linda Young's voice is clearly heard at 12:50.
I wonder if the japanese voice overs also have inconsistences like that or if this is exclusive to the english ones?

This doesn't seem to extend to the animated cutscenes though.

EDIT: From the vid posted earlier this even more hilariously absurd example is present:

Oh my, FUNimation really messed it up! I mean, c'mon, how lazy can you get? I'm glad I won't be playing with the English voices. But still, that is ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure this wasn't FUNi's fault...

Spike didnt have enough recorded lines in the game so they had to use lines from raging blast 1. so blame spike for the mess up, funimation had no say in this.

I read this is the same case with Cell as well.

Erm... Spike is the Japanese developer of the game. They have absolutely nothing to do with the English voices. It's the Publisher, Namco-Bandai of America, who is responsible for translation of the game. The decision to be lazy about the character voices is on Namco-Bandai AND FUNimation. But in reality, we don't know who exactly it was that made the decision to leave it as-is.

The bottom line is, to add this fluke to the queue of your perceived failures of Spike is erroneous... it's akin to blaming TOEI for American censorship.

I don't like the narration and how some of the actors play, from what I saw. Kinda overdone and intonation is weird sometimes, like in some fairy tale.
But I started to like Freeza's actor, he is brilliant.

Oh my god, that change between voices is awful! How could Spike fuck that up? If they waited another month or so I'm sure they could have gotten the proper recordings. No one saw this and went..."uh guys this is a big mind fuck?"

my face hurts from smacking it so hard.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Clearly you didn't read Thanos's post. Stop blaming companies who have no power over such things.

Still, they could've, I don't know, have Ayres re-record the other lines too? Man, it's just... wow, the fact that they would screw that up.
