What are the names of these two songs? (Kikuchi)
Hi, I'm trying to find the names of these two songs. I want to buy a box set and make sure these two are on them.
01.mp3 - 3.81MB
2.mp3 - 0.90MB
Those aren't full songs because that would be against the rules. They're clips. I'd be really grateful to anyone who would let me know.

Re: What are the names of these two songs? (Kikuchi)
The first is Clash!! 10 Billion Power Warriors (激突!! 100億パワーの戦士たち), and the second is Extreme Battle!! The Three Great Super Saiyans (極限バトル!! 三大超サイヤ人). They're the suites of DBZ movies 6 and 7 respectively, as presented in the 3-disc Dragon Ball Z BGM Collection (available on Amazon).

That's what I thought, but then how come the versions on this one are different?

Re: What are the names of these two songs? (Kikuchi)
Ok, I'm sampling them on youtube and both versions even sound different. How do they have the same name? Is it some kind of mistake?
I'm really confused.

Re: What are the names of these two songs? (Kikuchi)
Each movie suite has the same title as the movie its pieces are used in, so there's no mistake. I can't answer the question of why they sound different, though. Could you post links to whatever you're listening to on YT, so I can help?SylentEcho wrote:Ok, I'm sampling them on youtube and both versions even sound different. How do they have the same name? Check it out. Here's "Clash! 10 Billion Power Warriors"

It totally different than the one I posted above.

Actually, it's the same track from the same album. It's just that the sample you linked to in your opening post starts at around the 1:00 point of the actual track (and your sample of the movie 7 suite starts at around the 6:35 point of its respective track).SylentEcho wrote:Check it out. They aren't the same at all. Want the full versions? My sample's full length is 9:30 minutes and the other one is 6:30 minutes.

Okay, then PM me the full versions of your samples, and I'll have a look.SylentEcho wrote:They aren't the same at all. Want the full versions? My sample's full length is 9:30 minutes and the other one is 6:30 minutes.
Don't worry. I have the BGM collection, which has every movie 6 and 7 piece ever released (except M1416, but I'm pretty confident that it's not in the full version of your sample), so I have no reason to bootleg them.

Re: What are the names of these two songs? (Kikuchi)
Okay, the first track is, as I thought, 100% the same as the one in your YouTube link. Your sample in your initial post is also just that, but starting one minute in, skipping the first two segments and ending partway into the ninth segment. This track is from the BGM Collection (Amazon link in first reply).
The second track you sent has the same title as the first one, but features a different assortment of pieces. This version is from Ongakushuu vol. 1. In fact, it starts with the piece that your initial sample starts with, so that's where you might have gotten confused. I'd suggest you go back and listen to your sample, and then listen to the second track you sent in the PM. Listen past the first piece, and I think you'll notice a difference.
Going from album to album, certain suites may be slightly tweaked, having pieces added and/or removed. However, such "removed" pieces are often featured on other suites in the same album. For example, the second, fourth, and fifth pieces in the Ongakushuu vol. 1 version of the movie 6 suite are not included in the movie 6 suite on the 5-disc Daizenshuu or BGM collection. Instead, they're included on other suites in those sets. The second and fourth pieces are included on a suite titled The Cell Game, Which Summons Death (死を呼ぶセルゲーム), and the fifth is on All's Well That Ends Well~One More Conclusion (大団円~もうひとつの結末).

CDJapan's listing for that says "out of print", and the "add to cart" button is gone, which means you can't get it there anymore. However, Amazon US carries it as an "import" item. They've got a couple left in stock.SylentEcho wrote:And this is a good box right? It's got everything on it:

Re: What are the names of these two songs? (Kikuchi)
I have a similar question to the op. Could someone please tell me which cd/set these are on?

I'm guessing they're on the 3-disc bgm collection posted above that Amazon sells, though I'd like to be sure.
