Dragon Ball Z - Level 1.1 and Level 1.2 - Collect. Blu-rays?

Post by dbboxkaifan » Wed Feb 01, 2012 12:41 am

The DBZ Level Blu-ray sets for the time being are cancelled, however, these Blu-rays look great, no, fantastic! This was FUNimation's best remaster they've ever done but it ended too soon.

I've thought of buying them, for my Dragon Ball Collection, but am undecided, first I don't like incomplete collections, and second, if FUNi revives this collection the quality on DBZ 2.1 2.2 etc will most likely look very inferior.

For what it is, and the price, I'd say it's worth it, eh, still got mixed feelings about this. Opinions?

Talking about incomplete collections, I'm still missing YYK's Seasons 3 and 4 on Blu-ray. :P

Thanks.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Of course it is entirely up to you, but I'd get them as a "what could have been" collectible.

It may be incomplete, but they're very collectible now. Yeah, I'm very disappointed that FUNimation decided to cancel the rest of the series on Blu-ray, but I still don't regret buying the first Level sets. It's nice having a film like quality version of the series, even if it is just 34 episodes. Better get them while they're still cheap before they become discontinued.

I'd definitely pick em' up if I were you , at least so you can see DBZ at its best (IMO) even if it is for the same initial episodes which we've all probably got at least twice already :D.

Why have they discontinued them? Does anyone know?
Next to get; Leged of Saiyan figures and Freeza's force

If anyone sees
Any of the Legend of Saiyan line going cheapish
Or any other Banpresto DBZ figure :)

If anyone has a cooler steelbook dvd that wants to sell it (prefer new but used is fine) when/if the dragon box movies comes out contact me :)

Because it's too difficult for FUNimation to remaster the rest of the series frame by frame.
