LaResistance: In the link you've shared with us (the one which shows almost all confirmed characters so far) noticed a picture with Reccoome?
It shows him grabbing Vegeta and throwing him to the ground (EXACTLY like he did in the anime, when Vegeta came out of the water, and hit him in the belly)
Am I right, or wrong?
Oh, and why, pray tell, are Zarbon and Dodoria called "NEW" characters? Weren't they playable in a lil' ol' game called Dragonball Z Budokai 1?
And one last thing. In the upper right of the screen (right from Chiaotzu), I see the number 40 in the Japanese text. I hope that's not "40 characters", because I am going to be somewhat disappointed. Anyone with Japanese reading skills is more than welcome to help out.
Going a little paranoid, aren't I?
GOD I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME!!!

"Destiny"... people claim by force what they desire, wreak havoc upon others in order to acquire it... and they call it "destiny".

Flying is no indication of power. Goten could go SSJ and couldn't fly at first. XPLaRésistance wrote:I don't know why but I've always tought that Tapion is a really weak character. He can play the flute and has a cool sword but that's about it, he can't even fly.Caracal wrote:I'd be more interested in seeing Tapion than Hildeguarn, but that's just me.
I noticed that too. I do rmember that, near the begining, they were saying 'Over 40' which has since chanced to 'Over 60' and then to 'More than 90 counting fusions and transformations' so I doubt they've gone back to 40. It's either for something else or it's a typo of sorts using the old number. And one last thing. In the upper right of the screen (right from Chiaotzu), I see the number 40 in the Japanese text. <Kaboom> I'm just glad that he now sounds more like Invader Zim than Rita Repulsa
<Xyex> Original Freeza never sounded like a chick to me.
<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
<Xyex> Good point.

Man, they could always break the rules regaurding flying with Tapion and others. Anyone remember Kid Goku and Uub from a sweet ol' game called Budokai 3?LaRésistance wrote:I know, I just wanted to add that to underline that he is sort of useless.Xyex wrote: Flying is no indication of power. You're exactly right but you're missing the point I was trying to make. Apart from being grumpy and playing the "flute", Tapion doesn't do much in the movie, he doesn't even fight. Trunks, Goten, Gohan, Vegeta, Goku and even Videl fight in this movie, if Tapion had been strong he would have helped the others.
The résistance dies but never gives up.

Roshi already had moves in the first place, examples being his original Dragoball fights with Kid Goku, Tien, and King Piccolo. The Mafuba (Demon Containment) in this game would simply kick ass, especially if it'd be made like Majin Vegeta's Final Explosion: a one shot kill. Give Roshi Mafuba and Maxi Kamehame-Ha (among other techniques I could mention), and he could fly all over the galaxy for all I could care.DB_Fan wrote:Yes they did, so now they can do the same thing with Master Roshi, unless Spike has diffrent ways of making things then DimpsCaracal wrote:And yet they gave Uub moves in DBZB3.
In fact, here's how they could of done him in Budokai 3:
<E - Kamehame-Ha
>E - Lightning Flash Surprise
L1 Throwing move - Drunken Boxing
Certain Combo finishes - More Drunken Boxing
Teleporting Appearence - After Image
Dragon Rush Finish - Maxi Kamehame-Ha
Ultimate Move - Mafuba

lost in thought wrote:Roshi would be decent in the small scale (as seen in Advance Adventure,) but I don't know how useful he could be in a larger scale, such as a console game. I'd imagine it would be like another Mr. Satan, from the previous Budokai titles.
So as you can see from my earlier post, Roshi has plenty of moves that would work just fine with him, and if Kid Goku and Uub can get away with flying, why not Roshi? He wouldn't have to be like Hercule at all.Conan the SSJ wrote:Roshi already had moves in the first place, examples being his original Dragoball fights with Kid Goku, Tenshinhan, and King Piccolo. These are the games, if Vegeta can survive after suceeding the Final Explosion, why can't Roshi with Mafuba ? However they could definitly make him die with the failing effect of the attack, since it's a one shot kill and all.lost in thought wrote:You couldn't have the Mafuba. Roshi would DIE after it.
