Coolllll! I love that new Goku pic. The skinny arms point to Toriyama, but it's hard to say.

Can't wait to see this. Hope some one records this :wink:

Did anyone else see "Hokotate" and immediately think of Pikmin 2? Upon further inspection, the planet in that is spelled "Hocotate," but I was expecting a Dragon Ball had turned out to be a really well-hidden treasure in the game or something, which would have been pretty awesome. Oh well...

Oh, and best of luck, Julian.

I can't believe this is on-topic.

Wait a minute you're part of the reason Toei scrapped the Yamamoto score in Kai and why the final Kai OST won't ever be released? Wow, I don't know if I should respect you more for doing what was moraly right, or if I should respect you less for ruining our chances of getting those unreleased tracks officially.

Wow whoever did that was taking things way too far, i'm actually surprised the Japanese act like that when they're not in public, BTW hope Julian get's in.
If anyone has any of the DB/DBZ/DBGT or Maho Tsuaki Sally Japanese single DVD's that they'd be interested in selling send me a PM and I'll see if we can work something out. ;).

I wouldn't say kei17 is the ONLY reason Toei ever acknowledged what Yamamoto was doing, but it's highly likely he was a part of it, particularly being an actual Japanese fan saying something about it, and not just us crazy Americans on the other side of the ocean saying something about it :).

As for Julian: he didn't make the final cut for the episode. At the same time, we got some great stories from him all about the experience a few weeks back on the podcast.

Yeah I know kei wasn't the only reason Toei caught onto Yamamoto's actions hence why I said part of the reason instead of the main reason, I was just surprised to hear him say that had a part in getting Toei involved in the situation.

Dang sucks Julian didn't get on the show but the stories he shared were quite interesting to say the least, oh well maybe next time Julian (if they ever do a DB episode again).

News update on the official movie site details tonight's show:
http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/movie/2013_d ... ws/38.html

Since there's a picture, I guess it's fair game now to mention that the ones on the pro side are:
  • Akio Iyoku, editor-in-chief of V-Jump;
  • Fuyuto Takeda, Toriyama's third editor (for the Buu arc of Dragon Ball);
  • Tadayoshi Yamamuro, main character designer for much of later Dragon Ball Z, particularly movies 8 onward (including Battle of Gods); and
  • Hidenori Arai, the man responsible for the series' iconic sound-effects.
More later, I suppose....

It seems the program has several "battle" topics, Dragon Ball is Battle 4 or 5.

Yep, haha. They were doing some airsoft or actual gun target thing before the commericals.

EDIT: They still are at that part.

Hahaha, yep. I also noticed a sound effect from the Pokémon video games. When you're going through the text the little ping-noise for a lack of a better term, haha.

I just woke up. Did the Dragon Ball part end already, or is yet to start?
EDIT
If it's yet to start, could I have that HQ link? please?
Yes, Goku visited me once. He turned to me while I was still speechless, and said, "You've drank too much"...
