How big was the gap between Super Vegeta and Suppressed Perfect Cell?

Post by TheUltimateNinja » Thu Oct 13, 2016 3:17 pm

I know Perfect Cell is far stronger than Vegeta and was dominating him in that fight, but it seemed to me that he was mostly holding himself to the same level as Vegeta and taking advantage of his superior speed to thrash him. Plus, 16 states Vegeta can win judging by the power he's sensing from Cell.

So, how did Cell's suppression compare to Vegeta in power? Equal? 5% greater? 10%?

Probably 10-20% stronger than Vegeta's current power, that's enough for him to school Vegeta and even for him to get hurt by Vegeta's Final Flash.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

At least 10%. Any character that has a 10% advantage of power over another character can usually beat the handily.

It's anyone's guess, there's no official established gap on much a character would need to stomp or tank an attack from someone. But I personally have the gap between them at around 30%, which I think would be enough for Cell to casually tank a kick from Vegeta in the neck.

All of the above.
Cell was cocky but didn't drop his guard, focus is always key in DB regarding the tanking of hits and blasts.

I'm not totally sure we can measure by %.For a really basic example of 90%:

Fight A

Vegeta PL: 90
Goku PL: 100

Fight B

Vegeta PL: 900
Goku PL: 1, 000

Though in both cases Vegeta is within 10% I'd argue he has a better chance in fight A.

Final Flash kills Cell no matter what if he tries to tank it, doesn't matter if he's suppressed or not

For all the reasons you pointed out, Cell at his "warming up" battle strength is approximately equal to SS Grade 2 Vegeta. I'd estimate within 5%. Once Vegeta tells Cells to fight him like he means it, Cell beats him convincingly without having to power up.
