Different type of tournament.
True but in those other ones it was worse as you had a small number of fighters who were fodder just two big players.
Same problem but at least its on a bigger stage and we dont feel like the big players are wasting are time for 10 plus episodes on people they could beat in a heart beat.

I don't understand why they're hiding these characters. The tournament has started, no need to be coy about it. We now have names for 78 of 80 characters. Maybe they're still working on the designs.

Toei made Botamo a waste of a character. All he does is stand there and let people punch him, and the way he got ringed out was retarded. Could Toei not think of a better way to ring him out? Also why was Botamo chosen by Vados for the U6 vs U7 tournament if he is seemingly weaker than Dr. Rota and the two U6 Namekians?
Also did anyone else think that it was out of character for Vegeta try to beat Magetta in episode 99 by using a cheap trick (exploiting his weakness to insults)?

Me too,they should have introduced Opni in the recruitment or his battle should have lasted a bit longer to make the scene more emotional
