Piccolo already used Afterimage against Frost, when he was charging special beam cannon.

Well, at least Krillin brought it back, along with the Destructo Disk.

We know Krillin's Destructo Disc is back at least according to the new opening.

I would like to see Boo using his Chocolate Beam and Absorption. To make a step further, have him copy other contestants techniques like he did while he was an adversary to the heroes.
GT wasn't that bad

He must feel awful. Being a God and no one respects him. Just sad.
And Zamasu thought he had it bad. Fuckin' edgy Kaios thinking about "Justice" and shit just because they got strong by chance.

The Majin race's copy ability hasn't appeared in ages, has Toriyama/Toei forgotten about it? As for absorption, I thought it would be an interesting plot point, if Android 17 and 18, agree to allow themselves to be temporary absorbed by Good Buu to beat a powerful opponent, they would hate the idea of course because of their experience with Cell, but relent because its a desperate situation, plus we'll get to see a new Buu form.

Another fun idea is that during the tournament Tien, reveals the new technique "Dodohameha", the combination of Dodon Ray and Kamehameha.

Goku: Afterimage, Taiyoken, Mafuba, *Dragon Fist* (I want this made canon even though it isn't likely).
Vegeta: Dirty Fireworks
Piccolo: Hellzone Grenade, Mafuba
Ten: Mafuba, Taiyoken, Four Witches
Kuririn: Kienzan, Taiyoken
Roshi: Drunken Fist style, Buffed form
17: Barrier
18: Kienzan
Boo: Candy Beam, Absorption

Everything except the fucking Dragon Fist. That move was utterly unfair, allowing Goku to beat guys multiple times stronger than himself. Basically a cop-out Toei gave Goku so that he could prevail against anyone, because in their opinion Goku should be that indestructible badass hero who doesn't back down from anyone. So thanks, but no thanks.

I would like to see the Hellzone Grenade by Piccolo, and the similarly named Light Grenade too. That was a badass as hell blast attack, Piccolo needs to show it again.

Given the Namekians dragon themes and skills in Ki Control, I actually would've preferred the Dragon Fist being a lost technique that a skilled warrior class Namek invented before the cataclysm, and have Piccolo rediscover in it the present day(Book of Legends). Its a shame it took the Xenoverse series to show a Namekian using a technique that should've been theirs all along.

Now that you think about it, that would even kinda make sense, definitely more than it did in Goku's case. Seems like Toei was forcing a connection between Goku and Shenron (while there clearly has never been one), possibly as a foreshadowing of GT's ending or something.

That probably relates to Boo's last significant role appearing three arcs ago. Since the Beerus arc concluded, he's lacking in "major" appearances. I'd like to see that technique again, too. It's fair to recall Boo hasn't had the opportunity to showcase mimicry in awhile though.
