Help identifying a drawing.

Post by Atp23 » Thu Mar 02, 2017 12:39 pm

Hello,
Sorry to take up a new thread for this, but does anyone know where this art came from? i.e. first appearance http://imgur.com/yTdJTw0
My photo comes from the inside cover of Soshuhen Vol. 1. Any help is appreciated.

That image appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump 1986 #05, street dated 20 December 1985, coinciding with chapter #055. It was part of a series of images used for that year's Jump/Dragon Ball calendar.

Awesome! Thank you, Friend.
I was not aware of Yamcha ever wielding a Panzerschreck in Toriyama's art (only the Panzerfaust in chapter 10 obviously). Giddy thinking about all the other good stuff that is probably in those Jump Calendars.

You can find almost every special illustration in Daizenshuu #1 and/or the Chogashuu. Definitely check 'em out.

Will do!
The Exhibition Books are the only ones I've got that have any of the special ones. Great shots, but definitely not comprehensive. More books to the list!
