Leaving out Goku, the characters introduced in the first “saga” of Dragonball I have always had a fondness for: Bulma, Yamcha, Puar, Oolong. I would have to add in Krillin as well. He remains a character that I truly care about way into the later seasons. Bulma’s development is fun to watch and I really enjoyed any time spent with Yamcha. Oolong and Puar make me laugh. I do enjoy Tenshinhan as well but not as much as the others though that may be due to the fact he had less time to develop.

Suno is also fun as is Upa and Bora...Yajirobe I always tend to forget about too but he’s a fun one as well. The original series really has a lot of fun characters! It would probably be easier to list the ones I didn’t like as much.
