I understand that Goku used it as a ladder to Kami's(where it remains) but now that everyone can use bukujutsu, what's the point? Why didn't Goku pass it on to Gohan, Goten or even his would be succesor Uub? Please do not cite it's use in DBZ movie one, as it is highly uncanon.

Some people still needed it to climb during the Saiyan arc, because flying that high takes a ton of Ki (at that time). After that, there was just no reason to take it. Enemies like Cell could probably break it...

That's a good question. It seemed like Goku just put it away in the attic after defeating Garlic Jr.'s henchemen with it. I wish he would've used it more often in DBZ though. He had madd skillz with that thing. It would've been cool if he had passed it down to Gohan to train with.

It was cool seeing it for a moment in Movie 2, but I think that was the last time I actually did see it in use.
No point in bashing things with a stick when you can sneese the galaxy in half, right?

Unless you've got a flying pod like Yajirobe.
Jord doesn't have a avatar because the combination of Jord and a equally cool avatar would cause the universe to implode.

Never mind the fact that later on Bulma got up there no problem.
But yeah, as been said, they left it sticking between Karin's and Kami's towers. o: So basically after Goku got to Kami's it's never been used again.

Actually, on page 136 of volume 2 you're shown the palace with no poll connecting it to Karin's place. Meaning they got the pole back when they went to fight the Saiyans.

Yep. Sorta like a keepsake from his Grandfather Gohan, just like the 4-star Dragon Ball.

On a hardly related note... Gohan had a sword while he was training in the wilderness for the Saiya[ji]ns, right? Or did I severely miss something...? ... And... if I'm not losing my mind, where did it come from?

Piccolo gave it to him.

Rewatched pretty much everything from Gohan starting his training through to the beginning of Goku Vs Vegeteta... maybe I missed some things because of my eyes ... but I couldn't figure out where the sword came from (I buy the Piccolo gave it to him though) or where it went... because he didn't use it at all outside of his training...

Goku had his Nyoibo at the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai. If you check the scene where it's raining and Goku has the turban on, he has the staff on his back.

The nyoibo is a legendary weapon, so whose to say it wouldn't be effective in the hands of a Super Saiya-jin?

Well, most of the characters can fly. And the way Son Goku used the Nyoibo against Piccolo Daimao was to charge forward, which pretty much goes hand-in-hand with being able to fly.
