Should you settle for SonMay?

Post by fps_anth » Wed Jan 31, 2007 1:19 pm

I've looked all over the Internet, and I just can't find the Columbia version of the "DragonBall & DragonBall Z: Daizenshuu (5 CD Set)"[not even Yahoo Auctions Japan]. However, at my local manga store, they are currently selling the set for a fair price. However, the SM logo is clearly on the cover. Here is my question. Since the Columbia version of the set is virtually impossible to find, should I settle for this bootleg? I really want to listen to the music, and I see no other way.

I guess I could buy tons of Hit Song Collections/Other CDs, but I don't really have the money right now. So, what do you guys suggest I do?

My local anime stores sell bootlegs, and pass them off as the real thing.
I personally would try a tiny bit harder first; and, if you really must, buy it - but make sure your local store isn't trying to pass it off as the real thing. Stores like that are the WORST.

Maybe you should wait a little bit and keep watching Yahoo auctions. The 5 CD Set is going to pop up there from time to time.

I had to wait for several moths for the Hyper Dimension soundtrack to show up at a reasonable price, but it was worth the wait. (And right now there are two copies for auction ^^")

You can order through this store.
It's now out of stock, but they can try to find it for you.
Good luck.

Holy shit, you actually found a website with the Columbia version! Too bad it's sold out...

I'm going to wait a bit longer, but if nothing comes up, I guess I'll just settle for the SonMay...

And that site is good too! I've ordered some stuff through them and they were ALL original items!
Keep an eye on them...
